This is my second set of Ridge Grapplers, two different trucks, and they are the best tire I have ever had. That's why I bought another set for my new truck.

Customer Question I have a 2011 SuperDuty with 35x12.50x20 toyo ATII I was thinking about buying the Nitto Ridge Grappler. How does this tire compare in mileage, noise, etc. Also, these are F rated tires? The toyo's are E, right. I run 65psi in my Toyo's. If the Nitto's are F rated what PSI do you run in them?

Asked by: Brian - 2/3/2017
Customer Answer This version of the Ridge Grappler is an F-Rated 12-ply tire, and while they can technically handle more air pressure than an E-rated tire, it really comes down to balancing out your towing/load needs with your ride quality and comfort. As far as comparing the Toyo A/T IIs and the Ridge Grapplers, I'd make the argument that the Ridge Grapplers are probably the superior tire. The Nittos have better traction in a wider range of terrain and have more or less the same level of noise as the A/T IIs at freeway speed. The only place where the A/T IIs do a bit better is with treadwear and they have a better warranty.
