The PRXB achieves quiet, powerful and consistent braking power by maintaining constant exhaust backpressure. PacBrake ensures consistent backpressure through the use of an additional wastegate on the butterfly valve which regulates consistent exhaust flow, stabilizing backpressure levels and ensuring consistent stopping power throughout the RPM band. A spring-loaded arm positioned away from the housing and heat controls the exhaust flow for dependable performance for years to come. While the exhaust brake is controlled by a master on/off switch, it can be left on at all times making it ideal for both city driving and steep, downhill grades.
