The 2005 F150s had several gear options from the factory. Your best bet would be to check your F150's door sticker and look up your axle code. Wheels alone really won't effect much in regards to gearing and final drive ratio. Your tires are what effect RPM and powerband, and your choice of gearing is really going to depend on what diameter tire you're going to run, what kind of acceleration and performance you're looking for, and how much of fuel economy hit you're willing to take. Your best bet would be to call us directly at 623-434-5277 so we can get more specific about what you're going for.

How hard is the installation process and how much will it cost

Installation is fairly intensive for rear end gears and a Master Install Kit. You'd probably get charged for 3-4 hours of labor at typical shop, though sometimes you can find specialty differential and drivetrain shops that will have a flat rate.

I have a 2005 F150 5.4 V8 with 9.75" Rear End Gear. I know my Pinion bearings are going out and I am wanting to know if your part # R975FRLMK will have everything I need to rebuild trucks rear end? Thanks Creig

It has everything you need except the actual ring and pinion and a new seal/gasket, and you may want to consider swapping those out while you're in there. Give us a call directly at 1-877-578-2433 and we can put you a package together and verify that you have everything you need.
