Each of these thermostats opens at a lower temperature than stock which keeps your 3.5L or 2.7L EcoBoost running cooler and churning out more power. The 5-Star RAT thermostat drops right into place of your F150's factory thermostat and features a factory-style diaphragm that provides OEM-style operation and sealing so that neither you, or your F150 need to worry about leaks or reliability issues. The RAT 170 thermostat will require custom tuning for proper power gains and to ensure reliability.
