Triple Disc Clutch Designed For High-Horsepower GT500s

Any 2010-2012 GT500 that's been modified to handle more than 800 horsepower is going to need a clutch that can come through in the clutch. Thanks to Shelby American, their High-Performance Triple Disc Clutch is just that beast. Designed by engineers that know the GT500 in and out, you can rest assured that with Shelby American you're loading up one of the best clutches on the market. With all the holding power you need to harness all of that extra horsepower and torque, it was designed for easy driveability at low RPMs while you're pulling onto a trailer or just showing off a slower speeds. At the race track, however, it can handle up to 1700 ft. lbs. of torque at the crank to hold boost spikes like a champ.

High-Quality Construction

Shelby American uses the latest technology to CNC-Mill each clutch, ensuring extreme accuracy in its splines for smooth shifting. The cover is forged from 7075-T6 aluminum and the flywheel is forged from 6065-T6 aluminum. Weighing as little as 35 pounds, compared to the 50+ pounds of a stock clutch, these clutches unlock potential horsepower that heavy, stamped steel clutches consume. This light weight construction also allows for faster revs, quicker acceleration, and easier rev matching on down shifts. To make sure all internal parts run smoothly and to limit unnecessary vibration during operation, this 10" Spline clutch incorporates triple-disc technology and is engineered, machined, built, and tested under the same roof as Ace Racing Clutches right here in the USA for proven racing results.

Sprung Hub Discs

Most performance clutches use a rigid center hub because they are limited on space with a stamped steel design. Shelby High Performance Clutches were engineered with driveability and longevity in mind. They are designed with sprung hub disc centers to reduce gear rattle, allow smooth engagement, and increase the life of your transmission compared to rigid center hubs.
