With nine levels of performance, the RS9000XL Shock Absorber is a capable shock that is globally recognized as the first 9-position manually adjustable ride control series in the off-road market. The advanced RS9000XL series is designed for Ram 1500 owners who look to upgrade their on and off-road use, towing and more. With the 9-levels of compression, your Ram 1500 can be adjusted according to your driving demands with levels 1-5 suited to light off-roading and levels 6-9 allowing better grounding and upgraded towing. The shock absorber has a heavy duty 18mm Nitro-Carb body that is followed by a large 2/75" tri-tube body for increased fluid capacity. Working together, Ram 1500's with the RS9000XL holds cooler operating temperatures, increased scruff resistance, and corrosion protection. The shock is finished with a liquid metal blend for a premium-end long lasting finish.
Going off-roading subjects your Ram 1500's critical components to a fair amount of debris, dirt, water, and much more. Including the RS9000XL Shock Absorber grants Ram 1500s with its low-friction, self-lubricating seal which provides the shock absorber with an extra layer of defense against dirt and debris. The RS9000XL also comes with a protective boot which adds an additional layer of protection for the shock rod and oil seals. This is followed by double-welded loops that reinforce the shock absorber's strength and durability. What good is all this if your ride won't feel smooth? Fortunately, the RS9000XL piston framework is a 1 1/4" diameter sinter iron piston that is graphite filled and Fluon branded.
