2016 F-150 Lariat Super Cab
I ordered the Rancho quikLIFT struts from Stage 3 Motorsports to level the front end of my new F-150. They were easy to install once I figured out what size wrenches and sockets were required as there's no indication in the instructions. Stage 3's service is great, the parts are of high quality and offer a range of adjustment the stock struts or spacers don't have. My only issue is that they are shipped in boxes that are not suited for transport by UPS or FedEx. When I received them one of the boxes was crushed and the other was crushed and ripped open. A package containing new hardware was missing, but fortunately I found it on my lawn. I would recommend this product and Stage 3 Motorsports, but suggest that it be shipped in better or reinforced packaging.

easy install. installed both front and rear in about 3 hours. Lifted the front right at 2 , as advertised. haven't played with the settings on the front or rear since initially setting them at 5. Put approximately 5K on them since installing and like the ride so far. I do a lot of highway driving (40K+ miles a year).

2014 Ford F-150 STX 4x4
Super happy with the shipping and communication from Stage 3. Installation instructions were a bit lacking from Rancho but we got it figured out. It took myself and a buddy 3 hours to install both struts. The hardest part was removing the factory struts without damaging any drive or steering components. We ended up cutting the bottom bolts on the factory strut to make the removal easier on the drive. Installation of the quickLIFT RS 9000 strut was easy. The new struts dropped right in and bolted up super quick. Having an extra set of hands is helpful but you could probably pull off the installation by yourself. Truck rides awesome now. We have the shocks set at 5 out of 9 and it's noticeably better than the factory setup. We're looking forward to playing with the settings more as we travel to the desert and up into the mountains over the next few months.

Install didn't take very long and was pretty easy after I looked up a how to video on youtube. Needed an alignment once I was done but I love it now. still need to fine tune the shocks to how I will like them and add 305/55 R20's with 18mm offset rims.

Customer Question What is the overall gained height for these trucks? Description it states 2.75" but have seen where others are only gaining 2". I'm in need of new struts on my 2015 Lariat Supercrew 4x4 (103k on factory) and currently have a 2" level as its still nosed down in the front just a hair which I would like to get rid of.

Customer Answer Rancho rates these coilovers for 2.75" of ride height, but they often do sag by .25" to .50" after some drive time.

Customer Question Are these adjustable up to 2"?

Customer Answer This assembly is not adjustable. The QuickLifts provide a rated 2.75" of ride height out of the box, and tend to settle to around 2.5" of height after some miles are put on them.

Customer Answer Yep. As long as you have a 4WD 2014-2018 F150, the QuickLifts will fit. Submodel/trim level does not matter.

Customer Question I just put these on my 2015 lariat f150 and now the front end is way taller than the rear. I would say it's 3" taller. Did I do something wrong?

Customer Answer You likely didn't do anything wrong, but the QuickLifts only level up to 2". Make sure you're measuring from the center of the wheel hub to the lip of the fender when the truck is on perfectly flat ground. Customer Question I just bought 2018 raptor tires and rims and I bought the Rancho quicklift will these tires fit 315/70/17?

Customer Answer Not without a lot of trimming. In general, you need a 4" lift kit to clear 35x12.50" equivalent tires. To clear 315/70R17s on stock wheels with a ton of offset on only a leveling kit, you'll need to trim your front valance, the back side of the front wheel well, and possibly your crash bars if you have a 2015-2018 F150.

Customer Answer This version of the Rancho QuickLifts will bolt up to a 2WD/RWD F150. However, you will get slightly more ride height than what they're rated for, and we can't guarantee what kind of ride quality you'll get.

Customer Answer It's definitely likely. As far as suspension geometry is concerned, there really isn't a functional difference between the Rancho quickLIFTs and a leveling spacer.

Customer Question Looking at installing these on my 2016 F150 4WD 5.0L XLT, can this assembly be rebuilt? What is the recommended replacement mileage for these? I have noticed that other brands recommend having their assemblies rebuilt at 50K miles? Does this assembly give an actual finished lift of 2"? Is there a real difference between driver and passenger sides? Thanks for the help.

Customer Answer The QuickLifts cannot be rebuilt, though they are covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty which does cover general wear. Just save your receipt or invoice. The QuickLifts in the past have suffered from some amount of sag over time by usually 1/4" or so, though we haven't heard anything about the new 2014-2017 variants sagging as of yet. The only significant difference between the the driver's and passenger's side assemblies is that the adjusters are located specifically for easy access on their respective sides of the truck.

Customer Question These say they allow a 35x12.5 to fit. Does this requiring trimming of any sort? It seems most people had some minor trimming involved when install 35x12.5 even with a leveling kit. What makes these different then other leveling kits that allow it do fit the 35x12.5?

Customer Answer That tire fitment information came from Rancho, and it's not something we really agree with. In theory, with the right offsets, crash bar removal, and some amount of trimming, you can squeeze on 35x12.50" tires with 2" leveling kit. To avoid the headaches of all that, we generally recommend using a maximum of a 33x11.50" tire to avoid rubbing and prevent having to trim your crash bars.

Customer Answer The quickLifts will technically fit on a 2WD truck, however, you will get slightly more lift than what they're rated for on the 4WD F150s.

Customer Question Can these be used as a replacement strut if I am running a 6" BDS lift with the spacer on top of coilover?

Customer Answer Technically, you could. However, the Rancho QuickLifts are 2" taller than the stock coilover assemblies out of the box, which mean's you'd basically turn your 6" lift into an 8" lift kit, so you'd need to make sure that your brake lines aren't overly stretched and that you're okay with possibly ending up with rearward rake. Frankly, we only really recommend using adjustable coilovers/struts in conjunction with lift kits so that you can set them at a 0" stock ride height and work your way up to something more comfortable.

Customer Question Will this void or effect my new vehicle warranty? Ford does not like after-market modification to the OEM suspension apparently.

Customer Answer In general, a basic bolt-on part like the QuickLifts will not have an effect on your truck's bumper-to-bumper or Powertrain warranties. However, all warranty decisions are up to individual dealerships, and your best bet would be to talk to your service center directly. The QuickLifts do throw off your truck's suspension geometry, and some of the less scrupulous dealerships out there use that as an excuse to avoid warranty work on UCAs, LCAs, CVs, and tie rods, whether the damage was caused directly by the QuickLifts or not.

Customer Question How do these compare to spacers as far as wear on ball joints, cv joints, etc?

Customer Answer They'll be more or less equivalent. A ride height increase over stock with either spacers or a coilover assembly has the same overall effect. In the end, any increase wear from around 2" of extra height won't cause too much excess wear and tear.
