- Please note while using 5 Star's performance/tow tune, the economy driving mode of your application will feature their economy tune. Simply select this driving mode to utilize this feature.

HP Tuners Tune Delivery Network (TDN): Limited 3.5L Applications
Getting Started
Download the Android or iOS TDN app via the following links:
After downloading the app, create or register a new account via the TDN app or visit hptuners.com/my-account.
In the TDN app, select “Account” and join tuner using link code: GFYW-4348.
Reading Your Vehicle with TDN
- Open the RTD app and select “Flash,” then “Read Vehicle.”
- Press “OK” and follow the on-screen prompts.
- If “Hardware” is empty after selecting “Gather Info,” please contact us for help selecting the correct controller.
- Once the read process is complete, your read file will upload to the cloud, and 5 Star Tuning will be notified.
- After your tunes are ready, you will receive a notification via HP Tuners server for download.
Writing Your Vehicle with TDN
Before flashing your vehicle, ensure all accessories like the radio, heat, and A/C are turned off to maintain stable battery voltage.
- Open the TDN app and select “Flash,” then “Sync Files.”
- Once the tune file(s) have downloaded to the RTD+, select “Flash” and then choose your vehicle (e.g., 2020 F150 XLT 1FTEW1CP3MFC84861).
- Choose the desired tune to load, such as the 87 Perf/Tow or 93 Perf tune.
- Select “Write Vehicle” and follow the on-screen prompts.
