I've had the Halo Boss pack for over a year in half and they have been great. The drive fells much more sturdy and stable than factory. For someone who spends more time on the road than off road, they're perfect. It really gets rid of the roll and squishy ride the factory shocks provide. I've got them cranked to 3 inches with 35/12.5 tires. It's a perfect look raising it about 3/4 inches higher in the front.

Replaced a set of Bilstein 5100 shocks and struts with this kit. Was running the struts at 2” of lift (highest setting). Set the Eibach coil overs for the same height and the ride quality difference is immediately noticeable. These soak up impacts much better while still not feeling soft and spongy like the stock suspension. Overall feels very planted while still giving you a comfortable on road ride. The little bit of off roading I’ve done with these I’ve been very pleased. They handle washboard roads and bigger dips/holes very well and give you confidence in the truck. The Grimm UCA’s are a solid choice. Replaced the factory UCA with them. Factory UCA ball joints were totally smoked with 60k on them. These have been completely silent so far and getting the castor back to stock spec has been a nice bonus.

Customer Question I have a 2019 f150 stx 2.7 EcoBoost and am running 275/65r20 tires with the truck completely stock. Right now there is no rubbing anywhere. If I got this full eibach kit installed, would the new Grimm uca’s that come with this kit cause any rubbing issues? I am just unsure of the difference between the stock and aftermarket uca’s because the Grimm ones seems a little beefier

Asked by: Peter Taormina - 10/8/2023
Customer Answer This kit and the Grimm uca's will not cause any rubbing issues with your setup. The UCA but the ball joint back at a normal angle at the raised height as well as allowing better clearance around your coil springs. You will be limited to an 11.5 (295) tire unless you get a wheel that meets the offset/backspace specs of the uca.

Customer Question Will these shocks fit on a truck that already has a 6 inch lift that uses spacers and the stock coil overs?

Asked by: Jeremy - 2/4/2023
Customer Answer This package won't work in its entirety on a 6" lift kit. The rear shocks are not long enough. The upper control arms should work with your lift kit, and the coilovers can be used if your lift kit has strut spacers, but only if you set them at a 0" factory ride height. The rear shocks included in this kit are not long enough to be used with a 6" lift. You would need the BDS Fox 2.0 Rear Shock for 6" lifts. Customer Question Does this come with upper ball joints or do you have to reuse the old ones?

Asked by: Thomas - 11/17/2022
Customer Answer The upper control arms in this kit use Uniball joints and don't require you to transfer over the stock ball joints.

Customer Question I’m looking for a level kit for my 21 f150 4x4 3.5 ecoboost. I’d like it to come with new uca as well like the Grimm and eibach kit. Do you have one

Asked by: Fred Cornelius - 4/29/2022
Customer Answer Unfortunately, Grimm OffRoad does not yet have UCAs available for the 2021-2022 F150s. They are planning to release them soon, and when they, we'll be putting a similar package together.

Customer Question How would you compare these to the Elka 2.0's? Can you actually achieve 3" of total lift from these? I ask because I was set on the Bilstien 6112's till I saw you can "only" achieve 2" of total lift height. I dont need a full 3" but 2.5 to 2.75 would be great. If the Elka's are alittle nicer I'd just opt for those then.

Asked by: '20FX4 - 5/9/2021
Customer Answer We have not personally tried the Elka 2.0s ourselves as of yet, though we're hoping to get them on a truck at some point. "Nicer" is somewhat subjective, though in our experience with the Elka 2.5s, the Elka kits are well-built and ride extremely nice. Eibach's 2.0 kit is still a good choice, depending on what you're doing. Your best bet would be to give us a call directly at 623-434-5277 so we can get more specific about what you're looking for.

Customer Question What amount of lift are the struts set at when shipped? Also what size rear block would be needed to provide slight forward rake?

Asked by: blake - 11/3/2020
Customer Answer According to Eibach, the coilovers come set at around 2" of ride height out of the box. In theory, that should still leave you with a smidge of front rake. If you're looking for more, your best bet would probably be the Eibach 2.50" Rear Block Kit.
