I have the Max Tow package on my F150. This leveling kit was ready to install after watching the video and makes the truck sit with a little rake in the front. I tried to line up the lower control arm bolts with their original position but still needed a full alignment. It took about 2 hours to install taking my time. The ride is great and I didn’t notice the ride being harsher. Highly recommend this product. The picture is with the stock 275/60-20 tires.

Did this by my self in the drive way after watching a few video's on youtube. Took me about two hours. After the I purchased new 295/65/R20 Toyo AT3 true 35" by 11" wide tires on factory ford rims. Perfect fit "0" rubbing /no cutting. Then took it to just tire and for $150 I got three year unlimited alignments. Then added 1" shackle lift to rear. The level kit gave me a little more than 2.5" of lift. GREAT set up.

I am very pleased with how it all turned out. I watched the video and about 2 hours later my truck was leveled. The very big thing is to listen very carefully at the end of the video where he talks about getting a front end alinement right after you install the leveling kit. This is a must!! If you are not a mile or maybe two away from the alinement shop you will destroy your tires! I ended up having my truck towed to the shop. Once at the shop it was all dialed in and I couldn’t be more pleased. The truck looks and drives perfectly!! Great product, great design and installation video!!

This kit makes a huge stance difference over stock. The front wheel well height went from 970 to 1030 mm. The kit was relatively easy if you do what the video states, plus disconnect the tie rod. The passenger side cable adds a stubborn point to the teardown. A slight pry upward with an alignment tool and a ratchet wrench 18mm will slowly remove the nut. During install, the center nitrogen valve will lower and allow for easy install under the cable.

These worked perfectly at leveling my 2023. Installation was pretty straight forward for anyone with some mechanic skills, floor jacks and proper tools. The only issue was a bad/incorrect comment in the installation video where someone complains about the lower shock bolts not lining up since this system rotates the shock about 180 degrees, This sent me on a wild goose chase for a spring compressor to allow me to rotate the shock such that the lower bolts are aligned again. This is simply wrong! All one needs to do is spray a little penetrating oil into the rubber bushing area at the bottom of the shock and the bolt bar can be realigned using a vice or other method. Be sure to get your truck aligned afterward.

I am very happy with the level stance out of the 2.3” Stage 3 level kit “puck”. The steering wheel is dead center after the install, meaning that this product having the off center allows for a great alignment after the install. I prior had the Rough country 2”!red colored puck installed on a 2024 F150 XLT, but hated the fact the bolt hardware that came with it was smaller and inferior than the OEM bolts. This stage 3 comes with OEM quality sized bolts. Very happy

Customer Question Question I got a 2021 F150 platinum powerboost And I'm really looking at this for a leveling kit option what rear block would you pair it with to give such 2.3 inch lift? Also what's the real difference between your 2.5 and 2.3?

Asked by: KyleT - 2/8/2026
Customer Answer If you are just trying to level or get close to level, you would leave the factory rear block installed. If you were trying to add lift to the rear, than it's best you measure your current rear block size, and than add how much height you wanted to add to that measurement, and order accordingly.

Customer Question I am about to install these but they look like they are about 1” tall . Could you explain please?

Asked by: Theo Procopos - 11/26/2025
Customer Answer With the geometry of the independent front suspension, a spacer does not need to be 2.3" to achieve 2.3" of lift. It will be smaller to achieve that height.

Customer Question I’m looking to install this level on my 2024 F150 STX, I want to replace the shock and struts to the OEM Bilstein 4600’s to have a slightly nicer ride as well. Am I able to install both the Bilstein 4600’s on the front and rear since their OEM height and then use the S3M 2.3” level to get level? Not looking to upgrade to 5100’s. Also I’m assuming a 285/65/20 will fit with stock wheels? And will the stock UCA’s be okay with this level as well ? Thank you !

Asked by: Aaron - 8/29/2025
Customer Answer Absolutely! The Bilstein 4600s will keep your ride smooth and stock-height, but if you want flexibility, the 5100s are the smarter long-term pick. The front 5100s for your F-150 are height-adjustable up to about 2.5?, so you can dial in your ride exactly as you level or lift later down the road. Plus, the zinc body and firmer valving make them more durable and capable for leveled setups.

So yes, you can do what you’re asking, but it would be just as much work to install the 4600s with spacers as it would be to install the 5100s. The 5100s use a snap ring to adjust height, while with the 4600s you’d still need to remove the factory struts and install both the shocks and the spacer on top. If price isn’t a concern, I’d go with the 5100s all day.

Yes, 285/65R20s will fit on stock wheels. With a 2–2.5? level they clear fine, and if you notice any light rubbing at full lock, it’s usually solved by pulling the fender liner back with clips/zip-ties, no trimming required.

Keep in mind the 4600's are Tonka Truck Yellow vs the zinc finish. If you need anything else give us a call at 623-434-5277!

Customer Question Why make the kit 2.3” instead of 2.5”? Does installing a 2.5” kit raise the front end higher than the rear?

Asked by: Steven - 11/6/2024
Customer Answer From the F150 we have got our hands on, we found the 2.3" height to be ideal. Depending on how your F150 was equipped from factory, you could be close to level, or you may have some front or rear rake. The best thing to do when deciding how much front lift to add to your truck is to take measurements from the center of the wheel to the fender on both front and rear and see how much rake you have. If you need help after taking measurements, reach out to our customer service team, and they can help you make the best choice for what your goals are.

Asked by: Brian - 10/20/2024

Customer Question what needs done to make clearance for the ride height/level sensor?

Asked by: steven - 10/2/2024
Customer Answer We have not had any issue with clearance with the ride height sensor on any of our project trucks. Placing the spacer does not affect the location and mounting of the sensor arm attaching to the uca. The arm that attaches to the uca does have some adjustment so you may take it to a knowledgeable shop or ford dealer who is familiar with calibrating the ride height sensors.

Customer Answer We would recommend taking your truck in for an alignment. If the shop is unable to get the tires sitting correctly with the factory adjusters, than you may need to have a set of caster/camber bolts installed or consider upgrading your UCA to the SPC set that has the caster/camber adjustments built into the ball joint.

Customer Question I didn't measure my truck prior to installing this spacer kit, but after installing and getting an alignment I measure and found the driver side to be 1/2" taller than the passenger side. Do you know of this is a normal thing or do I potentially have an issue somewhere?

Asked by: Kyle - 9/30/2023
Customer Answer It's hard to say you didn't have a difference issue pre-install without before measurements, but if there is a difference it's usually opposite. Sometimes the drive side will be slightly lower due to the extra weight of the gas tank on that side. There's no driver or passenger side spacer when it comes to spacers so there would be no difference in the actual part. I would have the shop take a look at it if you are concerned and have them double check the work and make sure everything was tightened correctly to prevent the suspension from binding.

Customer Question Do i need to buy a caster/camber kit to get the correct alignment on a 2022 xlt 4wd?

Asked by: Colton - 4/25/2023
Customer Answer In most cases the offsetting of the spacer allows you to be able to pull the alignment into spec, but if the shop doing the alignment is not able to have enough adjustment to get it in spec. Than you would need either a caster/camber bolt set or a set of UCA like the SPC brand we sell that allow both caster and camber adjustments with their adjustable ball joints.

Customer Question What is the difference between a regular leveling kit and an "offset" leveling kit? Does the offset design reduce the wear and tear on the other suspension components?

Asked by: Mike - 4/20/2023
Customer Answer The offset of top plate of the spacer to the bottom plate pulls the coil spring slightly away from the uca giving it more clearance as well, as it helps the truck get easier aligned. Wear from leveling would remain the same as you are still adding lift height and changing the front end angles.

Customer Question Will this leveling kit clear 33’s on 22x10 on 2022 F150?

Asked by: Jeff Z - 12/14/2022
Customer Answer That depends on the specific size of the tire and the backspacing and offset of the wheel. Please give us a call directly at 623-434-5277 or email us at [email protected] so we can get more specific about your wheel and tire combination.

Customer Question I currently have a 2021 F150 RWD Lariat. I recently been hearing that some leveling spacers need a cam bolt to help get the truck back to spec with alignment. Will this kit require one? Thanks!

Asked by: Does it require a cam bolt? - 10/13/2022
Customer Answer In general, a caster/camber kit is not strictly required for use with this kit. In general, alignment can be set back to OE spec ranges without additional hardware. However, if your alignment is already borderline, then you may need additional hardware.

Customer Question Will this level out a 4x2 with the slight rake ? Trying to avoid the squat look on a 4x2

Asked by: Lj m jr - 9/7/2022
Customer Answer In general, the 2021-2022 F150s need about 2.5" of leveling to be at a "dead-level" stance, regardless of whether its 4WD or RWD. This kit gets you close to level, but leaves a bit of rake for light hauling.

Customer Question Will this kit wear out my ball joints on my 22’ f150 4x4 crew cab? I hear mixed things about leveling kits.

Asked by: Kevin - 9/2/2022
Customer Answer The UCA ball joints are a wearable item to begin with, and while a leveling kit can cause some increased wear, on a truck that lives on the street and isn't fully articulating on the regular, you likely won't see excess wear. If you are taking your truck off-road and you're going to be fully articulating the suspension on the regular, we recommend getting an aftermarket UCA.

Customer Question I have a 2022 f-150,4x4 ,XL with 20 inch wheels ,my question is will a 305-55-20 Grappler -Nitto G2 tire fit with out rub with a 2.3 kit ? Thanks

Asked by: Bojack - 4/18/2022
Customer Answer That depends entirely on what wheel you're using, specifically its width, offset, and backspacing. In general, if you have a wheel in the 5.50" backspace range, you'll likely be fine with this leveling kit and a 305/55R20 during normal street driving. However, your best bet would be to call us directly at 623-434-5277 or email us at [email protected] so we can get more specific about your wheels.

Customer Question on a 2021 FX4 with factory 18 inch wheels, what is the largest tire that can be run

Asked by: Andrew - 4/9/2022
Customer Answer In general, we recommend a 33x11.50" tire if you want to avoid all chances of rubbing. Something like a 295/65R18, 285/70R18, or 275/70R18 would all be fine.

Customer Question I have a 2019 with a level currently with 305/70r17 tires and 17” wheels. They are 0 offset. Will my 17” wheel/tire combo work on the 2021/22? Or will they rub?

Asked by: Jeff - 2/26/2022
Customer Answer It's our understanding that the 2021-2022 F150s have similar clearances as the 2015-2020 F150s. While we can't 100% guarantee that you won't see any rub, if you're not getting rub with your current leveling kit, you probably won't see any with this kit and that wheel and tire combo, assuming your current leveling kit is of similar height.

Customer Question I purchased a 2.3 inch front level kit for my 2021 F-150. Order number 423261. Received it today. It measures only 1.5 inches. Is 1.5 inches the correct width for a 2.3 inch level kit? Did I receive the correct part? Thanks.

Asked by: Dale - 12/21/2021
Customer Answer Due to how the front IFS suspension geometry/spring preload works, you do not need a 2.3" tall spacer to get 2.3" of leveling. You did receive the correct leveling spacers.
