Customer Question What would the price be for just the gears, front and rear, and the rear differential? I don’t do anything that warrants a locking front differential, but the limited slip rear differential is certainly needed due to my truck being an open differential. Thank you in advance!

Asked by: Chris - 9/5/2022
Customer Answer We can put together a custom package with just the gears, install kits, and the TrueTrac rear. Just give us a call directly at 623-434-5277 or email us at [email protected].

Customer Question Do these packages come with the Yukon lifetime Y.E.S. warranty?

Asked by: David - 8/1/2022
Customer Answer The Yukon gears and install kits do. The Eaton differentials are backed by Eaton's own warranties.

Customer Question Is this compatible with F150s that have an electronic rear locking differential?

Asked by: jamieson - 12/26/2020
Customer Answer You can install this kit on a truck with a factory E-Locker. However, you will lose the manual locking function and find something to do with the wiring inside the differential housing.

Customer Question How can i find out what differentials my truck is currently running?

Asked by: Meshal - 11/3/2020
Customer Answer The good news is, that as long as you have a 2011-2020 F150 with 4WD, your front differential will be a 31-Spline 8.8" IFS. The rear is tougher, since you can have either a standard 8.8", a 9.75", or Super 8.8" depending on your model year. Unfortunately, you can't just check your VIN. You'll have to physically look at your truck's rear end and see which you have. If you need assistance, call us directly at 623-434-5277 or email us at [email protected].

Customer Question will this fit the 2019 raptor, if I need a new diff cover thats fine

Asked by: james - 6/21/2019
Customer Answer This package will not fit a 2019 Raptor due to the Raptors having 35-spline year axles, meaning that the rear differential will not fit.

Customer Question Will this fit a 2010 F150 4x4?

Asked by: Hayden Briggs - 11/11/2018
Customer Answer It will not, due to this package coming with rear-end ring-and-pinion gears that are specific to the 2011-2018 F150s. However, if you call us directly at 623-434-5277 we can put a package together that includes the correct rear-end gears and install kits.

Customer Question What size tires will be best suited if you run 4.11 on the 10 speed. Putting them in a 2018 f150 platinum? Also I heard that 3.73 is really aggressive on the new 10 speeds cause of the amount of gears, so would this be too aggressive or still manageable?

Asked by: Daniel - 7/9/2018
Customer Answer You'd have to define "aggressive" before anything. In general, the EcoBoost F150s don't have much trouble turning larger tires (the new 10-speed trucks even less so), even with 3.55s and 3.373s, so you have the potential of going extremely large with your tires, if you really wanted without the truck feeling too sluggish. 35" would still feel quick, and even 37" tires wouldn't be a problem. If you're concerned about acceleration becoming unmanageable, you could always get your tuning adjusted for less tip in or a more linear torque curve. If you're still worried about, your best bet would be to call us directly at 623-434-5277 so that we can put together a package with either 3.73s or 3.55s.

Customer Question What is typical install time in hours for this kit? I'm looking to have a professional shop install it and doing my budget.

Asked by: Kris Kline - 7/2/2018
Customer Answer For a pro shop, you'd probably be looking at 10 hours minimum depending on how much Ford driveline stuff they do. Occasionally, you can find a shop willing to do a flat rate per axle, so you may want to shop around.

Customer Question For the 2008 f150, will the conversation he the same? I can't find the elocker anywhere else. Also could the year she in 4.56?

Asked by: Joseph - 12/24/2017
Customer Answer It will not, due to the fact that the 2004-2008 F150s had a 28-spline front differential, and not 31-spline like the later trucks. Eaton does not have an eLocker for 28-spline 8.8 IFS front diffs. The 2004-2008 F150s also have a slightly different rear pinion design, which necessitates different gears. If you call us directly at 623-434-5277, we can probably get at least a similar package put together for you.

Customer Question This kit says "2011-2017 F150" but showed up for a search for "2004-2008" F150, will it fit those year models as well? My 05' 4.6 F150 has the 8.8 front and 9.75 rear.

Asked by: Bobby - 3/13/2017
Customer Answer This kit will not fit a 2004-2008 F150, due to a slight difference in the rear 9.75" ring and pinion gears that was made between the 2010 and 2011 F150 model years. That being said, we can put a similar package together for your 2005 truck with the correct ring and pinion set if you give us a call directly at 623-434-5277.
