Whether your 2013-2018 Focus ST has base audio or the upgraded Sony System, the stock door speakers are the real weak link when it comes to getting a great sound out of your Focus ST's audio system. That's why we here at Stage 3 have put together this complete door speaker upgrade package that drops right into place of your Focus ST's stock door speakers. Our package consists of four Kicker KS-Series 6.5" speakers that we pair with adapter rings for your doors and plug-and-play wiring connectors so that you get a hassle-free sound upgrade in practically no time. Kicker's KS-Series door speakers provide a massive difference in sound quality that is sure to please even the most ardent audiophile.

The KS Series speakers included in this package feature a high-quality design and construction that gives them vastly improved sound quality over stock, while also being able to handle aftermarket amps and head units. The KS-Series Speakers feature a heavy duty magnet and motor, and utilize Kicker's Extended Voice Coil (EVC™) technology to provide a clearer sound with more range than stock. The speakers each have a 3/4" silk dome tweeter and a thick polypropylene woofer with rubber surrounds for excellent reliability and responsive lows. For mounting the speakers, we include a full set of four adapter rings which prevents you from having to cut your stock speakers from their surrounds. For wiring, we include plug-and-play adapter harnesses so that you don't have to cut, solder, or re-spade at all.

2017 Ford Focus St

I have a 2017 Focus St with the upgraded Sony system and I honestly didn’t notice much of a difference. Maybe a little better sound quality and very small increase in volume but that’s it. Definitely not $200.00 bucks worth. In my personal opinion, if you don’t have money to just throw around I’d stick to the factory door speakers or go a different direction.

2012 Ford Focus ST

These speakers really wake the inside of your car up. It is a literal night and day difference between the drastically underwhelming 'premium' factory equipment. 50% volume on these is the equivalent to 100% on the old speakers. The sound is much more clear and full and has a much wider range. Stage3 did a great job associating with Kicker with this bundle. The install was fairly straightforward. Some of the factory were tough to get out but, since they were going in the trash anyway, a screwdriver through the cone helped work them out. After they're out, just plug and play do everything you just did in reverse. While these speakers give a whole new sound to the inside of your Focus, do not expect your doors to blow off from bass. They do add some, like you can feel it against your left leg if it's close to the door panel, but they're not subs in any regard. On the contrary to that, I did get a rattle from them in my rear doors and took the panels back off and added some sound deadening materials to them and the problem was solved.. just something to think about while the panels are off to save time. All in all, this package is worth every penny. There might be better speakers out there, but the topic here is these and they've been nothing but amazing for the three months they've been in. I only gave it four stars due to the fact that the supplied install screws were too short to adequately secure the speakers in place, so maybe hit a hardware store before starting this.

2015 Ford Focus ST Hatchback

The speaker kit from stage 3 worked tremendously. The factory sound quality in my car was beyond poor, and now with the new kicker ks speakers in my car it is far better quality and much louder. I've had a good stereo in my vehicles my entire life, and I was underwhelmed by the Ford Focus ST's sound. A few things to note on these speakers......they definitely operate best in the mid to high range. There is not a lot of bass, and if they were paired with a subwoofer it would make for a tremendous all-around sound system in the Ford Focus ST. If you understand how to remove your door this is a breeze. This was my first time removing the doors so it took me a bit to learn everything. I watched the install video provided by stage 3 which was very thorough and helpful. The first door and speaker took me 1.5 hours, and the next three doors took me 1.5 hours. So in total I spent about 3 hours installing. Get some of the specialty tools for removing the panels. It will help tremendously. A torx bit and panel/trim removal tool will help.

Focus ST 2

Excellent speaker package and a big upgrade in sound quality from the stock 6.5 inch door speakers (they were made of paper !).. Easy to install, the only items not included are the screws to mount the speakers to the adaptors. Recommended upgrade without adding amps and crossovers...

This kit does not include separate tweeters. It comes with four speakers, four surrounds, and four wiring adapters.

Will this kit work on the Rs?

These speakers will fit an RS as a replacement for the stock lower door speakers. They will not replace the upper door speakers or the rear hatch panel speakers, since most RSs are equipped with Sony systems.
