The Garrett PowerMax Turbochargers for 2013 to 2016 F150s can provide a massive bump in horsepower and torque with supporting custom tuning and fuel upgrades, and can support up to 600 horsepower when paired with higher-flow fuel pump, HPFP, and fuel injectors. Even without fuel upgrades, the Garrett F150 EcoBoost PowerMax Turbochargers can generate excellent levels of horsepower and torque that will make your 3.5L EcoBoost F150 feel like an entirely new truck. The F150 EcoBoost PowerMax Turbochargers drop right into place of your F150's factory turbochargers and are compatible with OE-replacement seals, gaskets, studs, turbo adapters, and downpipes. While these turbochargers require custom tuning, they make for an excellent way to replace clapped-out stock turbos and get your F150 running at its best.

Redesigned Compressor Wheel with Complete Compressor and Turbine Housings

Garrett builds each of their PowerMax Turbos from the ground up to give you and your EcoBoost F150 excellent power in a high-quality, drop-in package. The Garrett PowerMax turbos feature all-new components with professionally designed compressor and turbine housings that with with both the stock intake tubing, stock hot-side tubing, factory exhaust manifolds, and stock downpipes. The turbos are built around a highly efficient compressor wheel with optimized aerodynamics and a lightweight, forged construction that allows the PowerMax turbos to generate up to 22% more flow than the stock turbochargers. Each turbo features an OE-style internal wastegate and integrated wastgate actuator so that you get perfect functionality without needing a separate external wastegate. The PowerMax turbos drop right into place of the stock turbo chargers, though replacing the stock seals, gaskets, and studs is strongly recommended. Custom tuning is required for the installation of these turbochargers.

2014 F150

Not mind-blowing. The truck is quicker down low and doesn't run out of steam up high. Realizing this is not a small vehicle I still don't think the money spent was worth the outcome; If I could go back Id leave the OEM turbos in place and save a few grand.

2016 F150 Ecoboost 3.5L

Instillation was straight forward and matched up pretty good with stock. The only slight modification I had to do was to bend the coolant lines slightly so they would match up with the ports on the turbos. Power seem more consistent and smoother. You can really feel it at highway speeds as it seems to give better top end performance.

Will these turbos allow me to still pass New York State Emissions

With these being drop in replacements for stock, and them not altering your emissions at all, they should pass any state emissions inspections.

What kind of tune? Would it be like a Diablo tune just a hand held tune?

These turbos will require a custom tune. They are not guaranteed to work properly with standard, "canned" tuning.
