2006 F150 FX4 5.4L
Paired with long-tube factory connect headers by Stainless Works and the sound is absolutely amazing, beyond my expectation - also a K&N CAI was already onboard. Sound is not raspy at all, not too loud, does not drone you to death on the highway, just a superb combination. The MBRP system appears to be very well designed and constructed. This truck is my every day ride, I've noticed 200 less RPM at 75mph on the highway, it's money well spent.

Purchased this along with the Stainless Works Long Tube Headers and Mid-Pipe. I have to say, the quality of the Cat-Back is fantastic! The sound paired with the Headers is flawless. Everything I wanted and more!

I purchased this exhaust from Stage 3 Motor Sports; they got the system to me in about a week. (I’d been waiting almost 5 months for a similar system from a different vendor!). The system fit my truck perfectly, installed easily, and sounds great. The stainless steel pipes are strong and the fittings hold well. I had one clamp that didn’t snug up quite right, but I think that was because I placed it too far back from the joint. I repositioned it and it holds well now. I am very pleased with the system and recommend it to others.

Customer Question Do you have a system that will fit an 05 5.4 standard cab 8ft bed?

Customer Answer The closest equivalent to this kit that will fit a Standard Cab 8ft bed truck would be the Flowmaster American Thunder Stainless Steel Dual-Exit Kit, though any other Flowmaster Dual-Exit kit will also fit a Regular Cab/Standard Cab truck.

Customer Question MBRP makes 3 different exhaust system, the PRO,XP and install series, do all 3 exhaust system mufflers sound the same or are they all 3 different sound?

Customer Answer All three systems use the same muffler design and have similar sounds. The only difference between them all is construction material. The Installer Series uses aluminized steel, the XP Series uses higher quality 409 stainless steel, and the Pro Series uses even higher quality 304 stainless steel.

Customer Question Will this fit a 2004 F150 (non-heritage) with a 6.5" bed?

Customer Answer The kit will fit 2004 F150s with 4.6L and 5.4L V8s with both a SuperCab with a 6.5ft bed and SuperCrew cab with a 6.5ft bed, though some trimming of the included extension pipe may be required.

Customer Question Is this exhaust system considered "Factory connect" or "Performance connect"?

Customer Answer Technically speaking, only Stainless Works uses that terminology, but if anything, this kit would be considered a "Factory Connect," given that it's specifically designed to hook into the stock Y-pipe.
