2009-2010 Ford F150 MBRP XP Series 3 inch Single Side Exit Cat-Back Exhaust Kit | S5210409

I got this exhaust 2 days after ordering it. The old one came off in about 3 minutes with the help of a sawzall and the new one would have only take about a half an hour to install except the connection going over the rear axle was not close to fitting. The exhaust shop down the road stretched it out a little bit for free and it fit great. The sound is awesome and definitely noticeable around town but when on the highway you can only tell it is there when the truck downshifts. My truck also started averaging over 17 mpg for the first time since I put bigger tires on it.

I recently installed the system on my 2010 Ford F-150 4.6L XLT pickup truck. I replaced a Flow master 40 dual pipe system with this 3 single pipe cat back system. The old Flowmaster 40 set was made of galvanized pipes and they rested very heavily in a relatively short amount of time. I decided to step up from galvanized and go with stainless steel, however there really wasn't much literature online for which system to go with. Ordering the set was like a shot in the dark, however it was money very well spent!!! After tearing off the old floor master set, the MBRP set went on without any incident whatsoever in about an hour! When MBRP says that it is bolt on, it is in very literal terms. As stated before, this whole set went on in about an hour with the assist of my friends left at his family's house. The stainless steel looks very sharp on the truck and he sound output is incredible! The set was also designed for the four-door crew cab set with an extension pipe added. Because my truck was a extended cab with suicide doors, I did not have to add on the extension. In regards to feel economy, I tested my trucks feel economy on a state route with the cruise control set at 55 miles an hour. In combination with a K&N Cold air intake, I averaged 25.6 miles per gallon. This feel economy was sustained over the course of approximately 5 miles. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting to install it on there for F150. To reiterate, it whet on very easily, The stainless steel looks absolutely incredible, and the sound produced sounds very mean and fantastic!! Great product!!!

Had to replace my cats so finally had an excuse to replace the stock exhaust on my truck. Black Friday deal was too good to pass up. Didn't need a high end system but wanted quality. This MBRP system has nothing but exceeded my expectations. Fit and finish is excellent. Bolted right up with no issues as stated in their description. Did it by myself off the garage floor without complictions. Sound like the 5.4 should now. There is a little drone between 1,800 and 2,000 but not bad. Definitly woke the truck up a little. I have had many exhausts throughout the years on different vehicles and I must say the packaging, fit, finish, and quality of this MBRP system is top notch, especially when compared to more expensive systems. Have clocked about 1.000 miles with it on and look forward to driving my truck again. Thank you MBPR for a fantastic product that is affordable for those that work hard for their money!

5 Stars for this exhaust system. After installing it I noticed excessive exhaust drone at high speeds but after contacting MBRP directly concerning it they shipped me a Resonator at a deeply discounted price and that eliminated the drone and also deepened the exhaust tone just a bit, perfect. Now for the really good part, after putting on 1000 miles since the install my fuel mileage has increased a measured 14%, wow! I didn't expect that, I do my own exact calculations and in metric fuel use has decreased from 15L/100 kms to 12.9L/ 100 kms. or using Imperial MPG has increased from just over 19 Imp. MPG to 22 Imp MPG. If anything I'm upset to think how much gas I could have saved by installing this years ago, why does Ford put a stock exhaust on that diminishes fuel economy so badly?

Right out of the box I noticed some dings on the muffler . Took a few more minutes to look around and there were dents on the end of every piece of pipe, the only thing with out a dent was the tip. Got the stock off in 15 minutes and the replacement assembled and on in 30. Over all a good exhaust system for only having a single exit . Sounds strong and punchy .
