The MRBP exhaust system was a easy install. Finish on the muffler and tip was mirror like quality. The exhaust does drone a bit at 2600-3800 at partial throttle, but it's to be expected with a 4 exhaust and no resonator. Overall happy with sound, fit, and quality.

First 10 stars to stage3 I ordered this and received it the next day!!! I got lucky Bc it was in stock at their regional shipping distribution but holy cow even Amazon wasn't that quick with their one day shipping upgrade! If you don't have a lift you will have difficulty taking the exhaust out. I tried a jack and blocks but you need to raise the car at least a foot off the ground at least to be able to turn the corner on the oem exhaust and the subframe. I tried different things for close to an hour finally used a cutting wheel and in 2 min had the oem exhaust off. Install of he mbrp was very quick and easy all in all 20 min. I did it myself. I would suggest using a floor jack or car jack to act as a spare hand. It works perfectly to line up the exhaust and fine tune the height for install. Only backdraw is no torques were listed so I sure hope I didn't over or under tighten the clamps. I think the sound is impressive makes the 2.7 sound like a v8. Although listed at 3/5 in regards to loud was factor I thought this was pretty loud at idle. It is true that there is little drone at cruising speed. My personal sound rating is 4/5.

Quick and easy install, had more trouble getting the old exhaust off than anything, did use jack stands and not a full lift. Be sure to check the openings/fitment on each piece before you crawl under, as a few of the tabs had bent during shipping and took some work with pliers and mallet. The sound is really good for the 3.5 as I constantly read complaints of "rice rocket" noise on a lot of the systems out there. It has mellowed out over the first few weeks with a nice idle sound that is definitely a step up over stock. As far as drone goes, I don't notice any noise in the cab with music on at a reasonable volume unless going up a grade at highway speeds. It does ramp up the volume when you get on the throttle, but overall very happy with the improvement in tone over the nearly silent stock systems.

Everyone keeps saying that the 2.7L EcoBoost just doesn't sound good and there's not much you can do to improve it. I call bullshit because I got comments on how my truck sounded with the stock exhaust, and now that I have a 4 pipe, I am constantly asked if i have the V8. Obviously these are untuned ears because the turbo whistle on acceleration is much more prominent with this intake, and now combined with the Roush CAI kit, it is monstrous. I can't help myself everytime I go under any bridge or through any tunnel to just romp on it and hear the reverberations that make me giggle like a 3 year old with a bowl of cheerios. Install on the exhaust was pretty straight forward, the stock dropped easily and the only snag was getting the rear axle high enough to get the mandrel bend connected to the main pipe. The tip looks means as hell, shines bright in the California sun and lets out a solid roar under the throttle. I am having my pipe welded together which i highly recommend. I learned the hard way that the new clamps need to be torqued to at least 30 lbs and because of the size of the pipe, it vibrates quite a bit more than the stock unit. Even after a small mishap on the freeway, the exhaust sounds sensational and functions exactly as I had intended for it too. YES IT DRONES. If you don't like loud exhaust, DON'T BUY THIS ONE. It's 4 pipe, it's GOING TO BE LOUD. I did discover that it quieted down a significant amount after 3 or 4 days. I was almost disappointed because of how loud it was at first. I don't even hear it on the freeway anyway, it's normally around 50mph at 2800-3000 rpm that it drones the most. Make the EcoBoost savage again! Buy an MBRP 4 Exhaust!

Firstly the customer is amazing like always. The exhaust is of high quality. I'm not sure if it's because I also have the stainless works high flow down pipes but on my truck this exhaust was insanely loud. Like let of the accelerator when passing cops because your afraid to get a ticket loud. It sounded good and if it was a race truck and not a daily it would be perfect. I ordered and installed a 3.5I.D stainless magnaflow muffler and cut it where it starts to flare out and then slide the 4 over the exit end and welded it all together and now it's perfect for me to drive it everyday it still has a way deeper sound and definitely louder then stock. I also love how I can hear the turbos at idle. I hope this helps some when considering this exhaust mainly if you have down pipes

First off Stage 3 has this exhaust for 100 bucks less than anywhere else I looked, and the free shipping was fast as hell. The install took about 2 hours and that includes removal of the old exhaust. I think it sounds great and that 5 inch tip looks nuts .
