Tons of Power in a Simple Package

One of the easiest ways to add a ton of extra power to a supercharger is by replacing the stock blower pulley with one that's smaller in diameter. Whipple's selection of 2.3L and 2.9L Mustang supercharger systems are no different, and dropping down a pulley size or two can get you more boost pressure and a whole bunch of extra horsepower and torque to go along with it. Smaller pulleys work by causing the supercharger's rotors to spin at a faster rate than stock, which causes more air to be forced into your Mustang's cylinders, and thus greater boost pressure.

Easy Installation

These pulley's bolt right on to the snout of either Whipple's 2.3L or 2.9L 2011 to 2014 Mustang 5.0L head units as direct replacements for the factory supercharger pulleys. In general, swapping pulleys can be accomplished in as little as 30 minutes (though tuning may take some extra time), allowing you to get huge power gains with no hassles. The tables below show the approximate boost output for each pulley size on both the 2.3L and 2.9L Whipple head units:

All boost levels are estimated, may vary from car to car, and are based on the stock crankshaft pulley size. Custom tuning will be required for all pulley swaps. We strongly recommend using forged internals for most smaller pulley options. Larger pulleys with less boost pressure are also available.
