September 2017 Customer Spotlight: Mark's 2016 F150 XLT SuperCab!

For this month's Customer Spotlight, we're diving head first into this absolutely gorgeous Ruby Red 2016 F150 XLT build lovingly piloted by Mark, a customer and friend of Stage 3. This towering F150 SuperCab is as show-ready as it is rugged and capable, with equal parts performance and aesthetic upgrades setting it apart from the rest. Read on for the full scoop on our September 2017 Customer Spotlight!

Mark's 2016 XLT SuperCab

Let's start with the basics. Mark's 2016 F150 gets its commanding ride height from Zone Off-Road's 6" Lift Kit, which also served to create clearance for 35" tires and Fuel Full Blown 20x10" wheels. With six inches of lift, Mark's wheel and tire setup leaves the perfect amount of wheel gap in the fenders for an aggressive, yet practical stance. And considering this pickup spends a lot of its time in snowy Michigan and Wisconsin, practical is definitely a good thing. The 35" off-road tires and lifted ride height will undoubtedly prove useful and spare Mark from spinning tires in twelve-inches of powder.

The most immediately noticeable feature on this stunning 2016 F150 is also Mark's personal favorite upgrade: the T-REX X-Metal Studded Main Grille and Lower Bumper Grille. The studded T-REX grilles add an undeniably vicious look to this pickup's front-end, making the stock grilles look bland and cheap by comparison.

Adding to this build's tough aesthetic are OE paint-matched Bushwacker Pocket Style Fender Flares. The extended width and bolted perimeters are sure to turn heads wherever this 2016 F150 goes, and the OE Ruby Red paint match ensures a clean, professional look.

In order to streamline an intimidating, sinister aesthetic, Mark called upon Anzo and their ANZO LED Outline Projector Headlights and ANZO DRL Outline LED Taillights. The darker headlights and taillights are subtle, yet effective reminders that Mark means business. Not only do they look badass, but the increased luminosity puts the factory headlights and taillights to shame.

Mark deserves major props for managing to pull off such an aggressive look without going overboard. The build resembles something you might see coming from Ford themselves, in a fantasy world where they ship their trucks with six-inch lifts and 35" tires. In short, it's clean as all hell, and we applaud Mark for that. He took a bit of a leap of faith with the 2016 F150 as he typically rolls with old trucks and Jeeps to haul around his true passion, motorcycles. One thing's for sure, it'd be pretty hard to feel disappointed with this Ruby Red beauty parked in your driveway. Cheers, Mark!

What gears is he running front and back? I’ve got the same truck but it’s an 18 and I’m looking to lift 6” and go big on tires but not sure what gears to use. Thanks
