Ford puts a lot of effort into the spark plugs that go into their latest generation of F150 engines, and their Motorcraft Iridium Spark Plugs are a surprisingly good choice for the 2011 to 2017 F150s rocking a 5.0L Coyote V8. These spark plugs generate a clean, intense burn and come standard with an iridium tip that's highly resistant to fouling, corrosion, and general wear. These plugs are highly adaptable and can be used on bone-stock trucks and even aggressively tuned and heavily modified F150 5.0Ls when gapped down. These plugs come highly recommended by 5-Star Tuning and are a great way to get your F150 5.0L back in tip-top running condition.

Can be Gapped Tighter for Tuned Trucks

Each package of Ford Motorcraft SP580 spark plugs comes with a full set of eight high-quality iridium spark plugs. The plugs are simple, easy replacements for your truck's factory plugs and are an excellent way to squeeze improved performance out of your truck. For stock vehicles and naturally aspirated trucks, we recommend gapping these plugs to .045" for best performance. For trucks running supercharger, nitrous systems, or turbochargers, we recommend gapping these plugs down to at least .034" or to the recommended specs of your tuner.

Quick delivery and everything was in good condition. I ordered them to see if they would preform better that my factory plugs. So far everything seems to be working good.

2013 F150 FX4

With 160,000 on my original plugs I knew it was way past time to change them. The old plugs still looked fine but the new ones made an amazing difference, especially interstate driving. My trucks comfortable cruising speed went from 75 to 90. The new plugs also eliminated some small intermittent vibrations when at idle.

The plugs work great. When I stop at a light I think the truck shut off because it is so smooth and quiet.

I have a 2016 f150 5.0 with K&N air filter and flow master muffler. That’s all the mods it has. Do these spark plugs come at .045 gap? I read that 5.0 should be .041-.047.

These spark plugs come gapped at .031" for supercharged applications, and you'll need to expand that gap a bit for most 5.0L builds.

I have a 2016 f150 5.0 with K&N air filter and flow master muffler. That’s all the mods it has. Do these spark plugs come at .045 gap? I read that 5.0 should be .041-.047.

Have stock 2017 F150, can I use these, and what gap of I can?

If I were to purchase these plugs and right now all o have is bbk throttle body, AFE cold air intake, and after market exhaust however I do have tunes from MPT with SCT tuner how would I get the information I need to gap these plugs with these modifications?
