Turbo upgrades, lowering springs and new tires are all great mods you can bolt on to a Focus, but sometimes its the smaller accessories that make all difference in how your car looks and feels. We made sure to toss on a few simple and effective accessories to help our Focus ST stand out in a crowd. Check out all the info below for details on the parts we used and the installs!
Redline Tuning QuickLift Hood Struts
The stock hood prop in our Focus Project car is clunky and tends to just get in the way more often than not. The QuickLIFT Elite series of hood struts from Redline Tuning are one of the best, most cost-effective ways of eliminating the factory hood prop while gaining all of the functionality that you expect from a complete strut system. Two gas-springs lift and hold the hood without the need for a factory prop-rod so whether we're wrenching on the motor or just showing off, there's no annoying prop-rod in our way. 12-17 Focus Redline Tuning QuickLift ELITE Hood Strut Kit
Velossa Tech Wing Lift Kit
Aftermarket wings aren't cheap, but there isn't really anything wrong with the style of wing Ford puts on the back of the Focus ST except that it tends to blend in a bit. Velossa Tech's Wing Lift Kit is a clean and simple way to add some height to the factory ST spoiler and give your Focus more character around back. We installed a black kit on our car to keep it subtle, but Velossa offers a wide range of color options that can add some extra visual flare to your car's wing setup. 13-17 Focus ST Velossa Tech Wing Lift Kit
Rally Armor Front and Rear Mud Flaps
Adding a bit of rally car inspired styling and some protection for our paint is a full set of Rally Armor Mud Flaps. These tough urethane flaps install easily without drilling and keep rocks and debris from tearing up our paint. The flaps come in multiple color options, but we chose a black set with red logos to match the black accents and red ST badging on our Focus. 13-17 Focus ST Rally Armor Front and Rear Mud Flaps
