Even a 4Runner equipped with a TRD package is likely going to need a suspension overhaul and some new tires to really make it the capable off-road vehicle that it was meant to be from the factory. Since we planned to push our 2019 TRD 4Runner well past the limits of its stock suspension hardware, we needed something that raised those limits a bit higher along with new tires to give our 4Runner improved traction off-road while keeping a smooth ride on-road.
Bilstein 4WD 5100 Adjustable Leveling Shock Kit
Since our 2019 TRD 4Runner was destined for use both on and off-road, we needed a suspension setup that add performance without compromising the factory ride. One of the most bang-for-your-buck upgrades you can make to your 4Runner is our complete Bilstein 5100 suspension package. This suspension overhaul comes with Bilstein 5100 front struts and 5100 rear shocks that improve overall ride quality and handling. The front 5100s can even add up to 2.75" of front lift so that you get clearance for larger tires to get more ground clearance for your 4Runner build. Bilstein 4WD 5100 Adjustable Leveling Shock Kit
Fifteen52 Analog HD 17x8.5" Asphalt Black Wheel
One of the quickest ways to give a 4Runner a whole new look is by adding a new set of wheels. We chose Fifteen52's Analog HD wheel. The Analog features a tough, off-road inspired look and are built extremely tough so that we can throw our 4Runner around off-road without worrying about our wheels letting us down. Falken WildPeak All-Terrain A/T3W Off-Road Tire
When it comes to tires, you usually have to choose between getting off-road traction and maintaining a smooth on-road ride. Not with the Falken WildPeak A/T3Ws. The A/T3Ws are a cost-effective, hybrid-terrain tire that provide excellent levels of traction off-road and in snow, thanks to its 3PMSF rating. While the A/T3Ws can rip around off-road with the best of them, they're also smooth and quiet on the road so that your 4Runner isn't miserable to drive around in. We chose a set of LT285/70R17s for our 4Runner, thanks to the extra ride height provided by the Bilstein 5100s. Falken WildPeak All-Terrain A/T3W Off-Road Tire
