Our 2021 Bronco Badlands Sasquatch project truck seemed to be a pretty capable rig right off the lot, but we wanted to put that to the test and see what we could improve. A new Old Man Emu lift, 37" tires, Fuel Rebel wheels, heavy-duty Warn bumper, 10,000lb. Warn winch, and a host of Rigid lights alongside numerous other accessories helped unlock a whole new level of off-road capability for our Badlands Bronco. Check out the entire build below!
Underneath our new Bronco we fitted an Old Man Emu Suspension Kit (Medium Load) to provide an extra 1" of lift (2" of lift on non-Sasquatch) and paired it with a set of LT37x12.50R17 BFGoodrich KO2 A/T Tires wrapped around 17x9" Fuel Rebel D679 Matte Black Wheels. This not only gives the truck a menacing and rugged stance, but it also provides a nice bump in off-road capability to get our Bronco through some more advanced and technical trails.
The next order of business was the addition of body armor and lighting for our build. We picked up a heavy-duty Warn Elite Front Bumper, dropped in a Warn VR EVO 10-S 10,000lb Winch with Synthetic Cable and finished off the front end with a set of RIGID 360-Series SAE LED Fog Lights (Yellow/White). Moving up to the A-pillars we added a pair of Grimm Offroad A-Pillar Light Brackets which provided an excellent platform to mount a set of RIGID 360-Series 6" Amber Backlit Spot Beam LED Lights.
Two highlights of the Bronco's design are it's removable top and doors which open up some new possibilities for mods. We swapped out the factory soft top with a Bestop Trektop (Black Twill) for an aggressive slant-back look and then added a Ford Performance Complete 4-Door Tube Door Kit to capitalize on the open air experience while still maintaining some safety for the folks in the cab. To top things off we grabbed a FactionFab Black Stubby Antenna and mounted a one-of-a-kind, prototype, spare tire carrier from Grimm Offroad to support the giant 37" spare.
