Some of you may know that we here at Stage 3 Motorsports are a little in love with Ford's newest lineup of EcoBoost F150s. The trucks are impressive enough from the factory and throwing on a staggering amount of horsepower and torque to their total outputs is so easy that it's scary.
Our friends over aFe have confirmed the fitment of their excellent EcoBoost F150 cold air intake for the 2013 trucks, while Edge and Superchips have come up with a new round of PCM tuning that's compatible with the 2013 EcoBoost F150s. The tuning alone can make up to 68 lb-ft of torque alone, and throwing on the CAI system can boost your performance figures by an even higher margin. Rumor has it that Edge is working on a specialized cold air intake tune that will get you a bonkers amount of torque. They're expected to release it shortly.
We here at Stage 3 now have intake and tuner packages for for 2011 and 2012 to 2013 EcoBoost F150s (the 2011 trucks have a slightly different MAF housing and need their own CAI). Installation is an absolute breeze and can generally be accomplished in under a hour. The aFe cold air intake is going to take the majority of your time, but is still just a quick drop-in replacement for your factory air box. The Edge or Superchips tuner uploads your new PCM settings in only a few minutes. Our EcoBoost F150 packages are the quickest and easiest way to pull more power out of your truck's motor and make your F150 one of the meanest around.
