Took about 10 min to change the exhaust tip. Looks great and fit is perfect. No altering, remove the old one, slip on new one and tighten.

Can not figure out why Ford puts a chrome tip on a blacked out truck. Found this wed site looked up tips. Ordered the tip and in about 10min had the old one off and the black one on. Its that simple. Always remember you get what you pay for. 100% satisfied!!

Tip looked great when I first installed it on the truck, but after 5 months all the finish has come off the tip. For what I paid I thought that the finish would have handled the elements a little bit better. Besides the finish coming off the tip, it sounds great.

Exhaust tip worked perfect. In the process of blacking out my truck and the stock tail pipe just doesn't look right so this was an easy install. Just slide over the existing tail pipe, tighten and it's done!!

Like the product, the picture is a bit off, there is no writing the side it is on the top towards the end of the tip. The reason for 2 stars is simply the hex bolt. Supposedly it is 8mm. maybe BEFORE they paint the dang thing. You basically have to scrap away paint inside the bolt head to get your allen key to fit. Huge pain in the but and what should be a 2 minute install has turned into 45+ minutes. Hey MBRP dont coat the inside of the bolt with paint. Good grief.

2021 Ford F-150 Lariat Powerboost 4x4
Really like the look and finish of the exhaust tip, but it doesn't fit the exhaust of a 2021 Ford F-150 Powerboost (Lariat trim). Not sure if this applies to all 2021 F-150s or just the Powerboost engine. I knew the tailpipe outer diameter was a tad over 3" (on mine it's 3 1/8"), but I thought that this product would take that into consideration. The inlet diameter on this product is basically the same size as my tailpipe. Taking a star off of rating for having to return.

Awesome exhaust tip! I was sick of the unfinished look my exhaust had with just the plain-jane 3 tip sticking out behind the rear tire. Now with this tip it finally looks like a completed exhaust system and goes perfectly with my black FX4 trim package. It's heavier than I expected which leads me to believe it is a quality product that will last a while!

Install time: Quick & Easy Installed onto factory exhaust on 2014 F-150 (3 factory exhaust pipe) I cut back my factory exhaust, and adjusted the tip to rest just under the side of the truck. I think cutting back factory pipe, also allowed this 3 1/2 tip to add tone/resonance, and it sounds better now. Glad I bought it.

Customer Question Will this fit a 2022 5.0 F150 with stock OEM exhaust. I have STX with no additional tip on it currently and it measures 3 1/8" OD. If this does not fit what matte black tip will fit?

Customer Answer The inside diameter of this tip is 3", so you would have to expand it to fit over tubing that is 3 1/8" diameter.

Customer Question ordered and received the MBRP black exhaust tip T5115BLK love it, but haven't put it on yet. question I didn't read all of the specs till after I received and now see that it is for cat back exhausts only? I'm trying to verify that my stock exhaust system on my 2020 Ranger FX4 is a cat back or not. Sorry but I'm a 70 year old woman with no clue about exhausts. Can you advise or should I ask my dealer if it is safe to put on?

Customer Answer Your Ranger is equipped with a cat-back system. All "cat-back" means is exhaust system components that installed after the catalytic converters. In your case, your truck is equipped with a stock cat-back. From our understanding all of the USDM Ford Rangers came equipped with a 3" diameter tailpipe, and this tip should fit without issues. Just make sure to install it nice and tight, and it's a good idea to retighten after the exhaust system heats up.

Customer Question Does this exhaust tip, the MBRP 3" Inlet 3-1/2 " Outlet Black 304 Stainless Steel Exhaust Tip T5115BLK fit on the 2020 Ford Ranger XLT?

Customer Answer As long as you have a 3" diameter exhaust outlet, this tip will fit. It's our understanding that all of the 2019-2021 Rangers with a 2.3L EcoBoost use a 3" tailpipe outlet, though we aren't sure on the overseas Rangers. If you're not certain, you can always take a tape measure to your truck's tailpipe outlet.

Customer Question I have a 2018 Silverado Z71 with a tailpipe diameter of 2 3/4 ". Will this exhaust tip be the perfect fit?

Customer Answer This top will only fit tailpipes with an outside diameter of 3". If your tailpipe has an outside diameter of 2.75", then this tip will likely be too loose unless you have it welded.

Customer Answer The tip will fit any 3" diameter exhaust outlet. Your best bet would be to measure your exhaust outlet to verify it's the correct diameter for this tip.

Customer Answer Yep. This is a generic tip with a 3" inlet. It'll fit the stock tailpipe exit, assuming that it's 3" in diameter.

Customer Answer You'd have to double-check and make sure you have a 3" diameter outlet for your tailpipe, though I do believe this tip will work with the stock exhausts on most F150 submodels.
