Try Not to Drool over This Modded 2017 Raptor

One look at the 2017 Raptor will make you wonder what, if anything, can be improved upon. Right from the factory line these specialty pickups are as well-equipped as anything out there, modded or otherwise. Nonetheless, this 2017 Raptor in Avalanche Gray is here to prove that yes, there is always room for improvement. Read on to get the full details on @my2017raptor's one-of-a-kind Raptor build!

You want articulation? We got articulation.

A shopper and friend to Stage 3, Aramazd fell in love with the Gen 2 Raptors as soon as they emerged from within the confines of Ford's design laboratory. Witnessing the new Avalanche Gray paint job in the flesh sealed the deal and Aramazd booked a one-way flight from California to Arkansas to pick up his fully-loaded 2017 Raptor from a close business associate. From there, the mission was simple and hard to argue with - enjoy life outdoors with his lovely wife Tara and silver lab, Luna. But this Raptor build's journey to greatness wasn't about to end at the factory.

If there's one thing the 2017 Raptor lacks, it's a proper off-road lighting setup. While the amber grille lights have thankfully made their way from the Gen 1 Raptors over to the new Raptors, Aramazd wanted something a bit more substantial to keep him and his family safe during those nighttime trail runs. To that end, he went with a full KC HiLites rack, which proved to be more than enough to light up those trails after sunset.

While the 2017 Raptor comes with a formidable wheel and tire combo from the factory, Aramazd's aftermarket setup went a long way in setting his Raptor apart from the crowd. What you see here are BF Goodrich KO2 tires wrapped around Method NV 305 wheels with a black machined finish, an undeniably utilitarian look that shows Aramazd means business.

Out back Aramazd's got Corsa's Dual Rear-Exit Cat-Back pipes complete with gunmetal tips. The Corsa exhaust kit emits a beastly exhaust note and looks downright sinister in place of the stock setup.

Is there anything this truck won't roll over? No. No there isn't.

Believe it or not, this monster is riding on stock suspension. While he does have some pretty exciting plans for the future, Aramazd is content with rolling over boulders the size of Jeeps, for now. Imagine what he could do with a good suspension upgrade.

Be sure to keep this ambitious 2017 Raptor build on your radar, as we're pretty confident Aramazd has a few more tricks up his sleeve. You can keep track of this build by following @my2017raptor where you'll find all sorts of jaw-dropping pictures both by Aramazd himself and the very talented @Hovpro. We'd also like to give a shout-out to King's Tire & Wheel for helping Aramazd out with some of the installs and helping him elevate this 2017 Raptor to legend status.
