The 2.3L EcoBoost under the hood of your 2015-2020 Mustang gets most of its big-time power from its turbocharger. While the factory turbo is by no means a slouch, it does get let down a bit by its stock wastegate actuator. The good news is that Turbosmart's IWG75 Performance Wastegate Actuator is here to help and make your Mustang's factory turbocharger more responsive and squeak out a hint of extra horsepower and torque while it's at it. The factory wastegate actuator has a fairly standard design and comes with a pretty soft 7psi spring that already has a decent amount of preload which can result in unstable boost pressures on tuned Mustangs used in aggressive applications. The Turbosmart IWG75 Wastegate Actuator has a 10psi spring with very little preload that allows for the cleaner and crisper function of your Mustang's wastegate for more consistent power throughout your entire rev range.

Turbosmart's IWG75 Wastegate Actuator has a strong, durable construction and highly effective design so that it doesn't let your 2.3L Mustang EcoBoost down when you need it most. The actuator is built around a silicone diaphragm with Nomex reinforcement so that it withstand the high temperatures generated by your Mustang's turbocharger and engine. The actuator has a CNC machined billet aluminum spring housing with a black anodized finish and a stainless steel rod and clevis that allows it resist corrosion in practically any climate or application. The spring housing features a locking cap that allows for quick spring changes if you want to further fine-tune your Mustang's turbocharger functions. The actuator drops right into place of your stock wastegate actuator in a very simple, straightforward installation. Turbosmart includes instructions and hardware.
