Luckily though, Titan Fuel Tanks has you more than covered in that situation with their Super Series 51-Gallon Replacement Fuel Tank. Constructed from corrosion-proof, high-density cross-linked 1/4" polyethylene for maximum strength, the Titan Tanks Super Series Fuel Tank is tough enough to hold up against just about any impact. Titan Tank's 51-Gallon Fuel Tank installs in the same location as your factory fuel tank, providing 22 gallons of extra fuel capacity!

Thicker and Stronger than Stock

Your factory fuel tank does the job most of the time, but Titan Tanks' 51-Gallon Fuel Tank nearly doubles the amount of time between fill-ups, and with 1/4" thick cross-linked polyethylene construction, it's a heck of a lot stronger than your stock fuel tank too. Installation is surprisingly simple - the assembly mostly reuses stock components, including the existing sending unit. While a vehicle hoist and transmission jack are ideal, hand tools will get the job done.

Note on Distance 'Til Empty (DTE): When you upgrade to a larger fuel tank like Titan's, you will need to calibrate your fuel gauge properly to get an accurate read on DTE (distance till empty). This can be done using a program called FORScan and will require a compatible OBDII adapter that can read and send data via cable or Bluetooth back to your FORScan software, which can be downloaded via PC, laptop, or smart phone. Once you're set up, you can access the vehicle's computer system through the FORScan software and update your tank size to the new one installed. FORScan does offer a free trial version of the software, although you can pay the subscription fee for full access to the software.
