We Have Big Things Planned for Our First Project Trucks of 2018!

We're taking both of these trucks to Flagstaff! It's time for Stage 3's annual pilgrimage to Flagstaff, Arizona, for some muddy, aggressive, and cold off-roading. We're bringing along both our 2014 Tremor Build and 2014 Hunting Truck builds for a shakedown. Get a an early preview of them both by liking, following, or subscribing to us on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube! We'll be doing live video as much as possible, so stay tuned!

A couple of weeks ago, we revealed a preview of our upcoming projects for 2018. Now we want to dive into the specifics with the first two builds on the schedule, the 2014 F150 STX Hunting Rig and the 2014 F150 Tremor Overland Build. We've spent a bit of time with these trucks and come up with a complete parts list for each one, which we want to share with you here. Read on to find out exactly what we're planning with these two purpose-driven outdoor builds!

Stage 3's 2018 Project Trucks!

For 2018, we want to pull back the curtain a bit and show you fine folks how we like to build our trucks. The first two purpose-built rigs we're putting together are the hunting rig and the overland build. The hunting rig is being built from a 2014 F150 STX 5.0L, while the overland build's foundation is a 2014 F150 "Tremor" with the 3.5L EcoBoost under the hood. Now we're gonna get straight to the point with comprehensive parts lists for these trucks, starting with the overland build.

For the hunting rig, where are you supposed to lock up your rifle and shotguns? I get the center console could potentially be used for shotguns and the in bed drawers would work if you could lock them. Also, what will you use to hold down the decoys and other bed sized hunting gear? Otherwise, super excited to see it completed!

Hey Barry! Those are good questions. The DU-HA Underseat Storage Unit is where we'll store our rifles. As for the equipment in the bed, that will be secured using the Load Locks tie-downs that come with the optional Core Trax system, which is available as a drop-down option on the DECKED storage system's product page. If you have any other questions, feel free to give us a call or shoot us an email!

Do y'all have any plans on carrying form fit seat covers? Such as Wetoakle or another form fit "custom" seat cover

Hey Miles! Currently we're carrying Carhartt and CoverKing seat covers. Both brands offer custom-designed front and rear seat covers for your specific truck and configuration. Try typing Carhartt or CoverKing into our search bar near the top of the home page and you'll see a good sized selection of custom seat covers.

For the hunting rig why are you using lift blocks and add a leafs?

Hey Danny. Funny you should mention it. Our original thought process was that we would need both the rear block and the add-a-leaf kit in order to keep the truck level since we planned on having the DECKED system, all the gear that would load into the DECKED system, and a quad in the bed on top of the DECKED. Now that we've driven it around for a while now with the combination, we're actually considering removing the rear block and just sticking with the add-a-leaf.
