Powerful Carbon Fiber-Ceramic Friction Compound that Drop into Place of Stock Pads

Power Stop carefully designed their Z23 Carbon-Ceramic Brake Pads to provide an excellent improvement in braking performance, all without causing undue rotor wear and keeping dust generation to a minimum. The secret is these pads' specialized friction compound which is made from a combination of traditional ceramic and real carbon fiber which gives the pads more bite and stopping power than traditional semi-metallic brake pads, but also makes them easy on your choice of rotors and generate much less dust than most OEM brake pads. The friction surface of each brake pad is thermal-scorched for a fast break in period and to provide more consistent performance. The pads are also chamfered and slotted like OEM pads, and even come with rubberized shims, all of which work together to keep brake noise and vibrations to a minimum. The friction material is built into a heavy-duty backing plate that's powder coated to prevent corrosion. These pads drop right into place of the factory brake pads on 2015-2023 Mustang GTs with Brembo front brakes.

INSTALLED THESES PADS FRONT AND REAR ON MY 2015 PERFORMANCE PACK GT. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! VERY LITTLE BRAKE DUST AND FINALLY NO NOISE! AS NOTED BY OTHERS THE INTIAL BITE IS A LITTLE LESS, BUT THATS NOT A BAD THING FOR NORMAL DRIVING. OVERALL BRAKING POWER SEEMS UNCHANGED. I ALSO INSTALLED CROSS DRILLED/SLOTTED ROTORS AT THE SAME TIME AND COULD NOT BE HAPPIER WITH THE ENTIRE PACKAGE. THANK YOU STAGE 3

2015 Mustang GT PP

As said below, the initial low speed bite is reduced a little. Normal and hard braking feels fantastic. They are smooth and silent. Dusting is probably less than 10% of what the factory pads produced. Best STREET pad for the GT PP that I have seen.

2015 Mustang GT PP

Easy install. Initial bite is not quite to the level of the oem pads. Dust and noise is literally gone which why I bought them. If you need a light duty track pad these are not them. Great value.

2016 Mustang GT w/PP

I've owned both a 2015 ecoboost and now a 2016 GT mustang, and they both suffered from cheap, squeaky, metallic brake pads from the factory. Ford replaced the ecoboost pads/rotors under a TSB, but has failed to issue one for the 16 GT's. My brakes were driving me crazy. I sounded like a school bus every time I started braking around 35 mph. These pads completely fixed my issue. I put these and the matching pads on the rear. They are completely silent, and offer way more surface area thanbury the cheap factory ones. Follow the break in procedure to ensure proper break in. Also, the manufacturer has awesome customer service, although their phone number on the box didn't work for me. I had to send them messages through their site.

Powerstop has not yet confirmed fitment of these pads on the 2018 Mustangs, though we'll likely have a fitment confirmation here soon.
