Cleanly Mount LED Cube Lights without Effecting their Output

It's not exactly easy to find a clean way to mount up standard 3" off-road LED cube lights on the 2009-2014 F150s without blocking some light output. However, our friends over at ZROADZ have a solution with their bolt-on Hood Hinge LED Pod Mounts. These mounts utilize the stock hood hinge locations and place either a single or a pair of 3" LED cube lights, like the Rigid Duallys or D2 Series, just in front of your F150's A-pillar. The end result is a highly-effective light position that allows your cube lights to function at their very best while giving your F150 an aggressive, off-road look that is sure to catch attention wherever you go.

Laser-Cut Steel with a Semi-Gloss Powder Coat Finish

The ZROADZ LED Cube Brackets feature a durable steel construction and were designed to bolt right on to your F150 without cutting or trimming. Each bracket is made from heavy-duty, laser-cut steel that then receives a 20% gloss powder coat finish that protects against corrosion and fits in perfectly with a variety of F150 paint colors and styling themes. The brackets can hold either a single 3" LED cube light or two LED cube lights on either side of your truck thanks to their optional dual-mount bracket plate. The LED pod mounts are easy to install and don't require drilling, cutting, welding, or any other permanent modifications to your truck.

Lights not included: this part number is only for the Hood Hinge Brackets, and lights are not included.

Will these hold the lp6? And will that interfere with the hood going up if so ?

A set of LP6s will be able to fit on these mounts, though you may need to grab short bolts so you don't rub on the hood paint. You can still open the hood with these mounts installed.

Do the Zroads A pillar mount bolt to the bottom of the hood hinge or top? Trying to compare between Zroads and SHDQ mount. Thanks.

The ZRoadZ hood hinge pods mount to the bottom or fender-side of the hood hinge connections so that they don't move with the hood which results in cleaner wiring.

Looking at these hood mounts it has a option for dual plate adapter, is that to hold a pair of lights per side? wanting to run a set of good fogs for off to the sides and a set of spots for forward facing light.

Correct. The dual plate adapter allows you to mount two 3" cube lights per side.

Will the Baja designs squadron sport lights fit without interfering with the hood operation?

As long as you leave enough slack in the wiring, you should not have an issue with opening your hood. The only issue you may have is that the squadron's bolt may be too long, and you may have to grab a shorter mounting bolt to avoid contact with your paint.

Will these mounts fit on 2006 Ford f150?

They will not. Unfortunately, these light mounts only fit the 2009-2014 F150s.

Does this kit interfere with hood operations?

Nope. The hood hinge mounts themselves don't effect hood operation. Though you do have to be fairly careful with your choice of lights and how you run your wiring. Most 3" cube lights and smaller won't have problems.

Yep. The Rigid D-Series cube lights will work just fine with these mounts.

Would these brackets be able to hold the KC gravity hilites 6"?

While you could probably get them to mount with the right amount of finagling, I'm not sure how well the brackets would handle the weight of a 6" light. While they are pretty stout, you'd probably get some sort of lever action going with a large light like the Pro Sport or Daylighter 6" lights.
