Bought this for towing on my truck and very happy. recommend. Sway bar is musher thicker than stock and rear is no slouch either. Handles like a slightly smaller vehicle and definitely a noticeable upgrade. Passengers reach for the OS handles alot less. The install is a bit of a pain as the instruction don't tell you what to do if you end links are stuck on, but YouTube never fails. I would definitely buy again and recomend.

The addition of both front and rear Hellwig sway bars put my truck on a much higher handling level. Turns that were taken before are now being taken anywhere from 10 mph faster or more. Great addition if you're looking to make your truck a better handling vehicle.

Wow!!! I was shocked to receive my Hellwig sway bars in only 2 days. Stage 3 Motorsports was Awesome to deal with!!! Ordering was easy their videos are a Great help in installation. The Hellwig Sway bars make my truck handle like a Dream. The front bar was a piece of cake to install, but the rear installation was a little tricky on my truck because I have Airlift airbags, so I had to get a little creative with the U bolts. I am Totally satisfied!

I have not felt any difference from the factory version. I thought it would stiffen up the body roll.

2013 F150 4wd I was shocked to receive my Hellwig sway bars in only 2 days. Stage 3 Motorsports was Awesome to deal with!!! The Hellwig Sway bars make my truck handle like a European sports car with the stable ride of a super duty, but without the front end chop. The front bar was a piece of cake to install and is 1 1/2” diameter compared to 1 3/16” stock. The rear installation was a little tricky on my truck because I have Airlift airbags, so I had to move left inner U-bolt over a touch. I’m certain it will make towing my travel trailer more pleasant. I will update after next trip. I am Totally satisfied!

Truck has about 75,000miles, stock ride height and tires (275/65 R18). Install - instructions could be clearer but overall it's pretty self evident what to do. Just two minor issues - 1) I couldn't install one of the locking collars on the front sway bar - there wasn't enough clearance to keep the collar from rubbing against the frame rail - so I just left it off. 2) The threads could have been way cleaner on one of the trailing arms for the rear sway bar - still not a big deal as I was able to make it work (if I had the right size tap I would have just taken care of it). Performance - first impressions but this is a better upgrade than I expected. Make no mistake this isn't going to make you 6,000 lb truck handle like a sports car - but it does reduce sway, head toss / lurching when turning, and make the truck feel way more planted / stable. One of the things I like the most is that the bars seem to be pretty well matched to each other so steering response and feel is better too. Once again it's a truck - so don't expect too much - but a noticable upgrade.

This product works great. Front bar was very easy to install and the rear bar was not bad. Pay attention to the rear for the brake lines. Watch the YouTube video. The truck handle very well around sharp turns now. No doubt what a great improvement.

Customer Question Hi there. I have a 2012 SC EB w/ 6.5’ box and the heavy duty payload package. Seems to be some debate about what that actually changes. Any experience fitting rear sway bar? Thank you.

Customer Question My 2009 F-150 supercrew has drop shackles on the rear leaves, lowering the rear about 1.5-2" below factory ride height. And i have Firestone ride-rite air bags ("helper springs") installed on the rear. Will this sway bar have any interference with this setup?

Asked by: David - 3/24/2021
Customer Answer As long as you're at 1.5" to 2" below factory height, you should be fine, since the rear sway bar's end links have enough adjustment, according to Hellwig. Your Ride-Rite system should also not effect install, since the Ride-Rite kits install between the frame and the leaf springs.

Customer Question I drive an f150 more for a daily driver but with racing in mind or in other words it rarely goes on dirt but also isn’t used for towing. All my friends with project cars use them however I’m hesitant because it’s a truck. Should I get them and if you say no don’t worry I’ve bought stuff on this sight in the past so you won’t be missing out on a sale, I’ll just put the money into brakes or whatever

Asked by: Beau - 3/16/2021
Customer Answer A lot will depend on what kind of racing you're doing and whether you're going to lower the truck at some point. If you're hitting the weekend drags, then this kit would probably help you. However, if you're going to run a lowering kit with an axle flip, the rear sway bar would fit at all. Honestly, your best bet would be to call us directly at 623-434-5277 or email us at [email protected] so we can get more specific to what your plans are.

Customer Question I have a 2014 4wd supercab, 6 1/2' bed, with the OEM heavy duty suspension. Will the front sway bar in this kit be an improvement over the original?

Asked by: Brian - 9/23/2020
Customer Answer The front sway bar should still be an improvement over stock, though you likely won't notice a much of a difference as an F150 with a base suspension package.

Customer Question Will these sway bars fit on a truck that has a 2.5" lift? I have the Bilstein 5100 on the max setting.

Asked by: Larry C - 8/25/2020
Customer Answer Yep. The front sway bar will work just fine with a 2.5" leveling kit, as well as most complete lift kits that include sway bar drop brackets. The rear sway bar is not effected by a front leveling kit.

Customer Question Will this work with 1.5-3” leveling kits 0-3 “ Icon/Fox Coilivers Thanks.

Asked by: Jesse - 6/19/2020
Customer Answer This kit will work with a front leveling kit just fine. It will not work with certain rear lifts from larger blocks, add-a-leaf kits, lift shackles, or taller leaf springs.
