2015 F150 5.0
I have been wanting to supercharger my truck since I bought it new in 2015. I finally decided on this system due to the price and ease of installation. Stage 3 gave me a great price compared to others, they provided great customer service as well. I have only had the system for 2 days now but the power is awesome. From 3000-6500 rpm this thing rips. It just keeps pulling and pulling. I normally due all my mechanic work but this install did kick my butt. Procharger instructions could be a lot better with certain parts of the system. I am guessing they have updated the systems but not the instruction booklet. For example my new injectors were the same size as the old ones, but the booklet says I needed spacers for the shorter injectors for 2015 model. The pictures of the bypass valve shows it mounted next the intercooler but its actually behind the headlight where its a super tight fit, and a bunch of other little things that make you wonder if they sent you the wrong system. Instructions really need an update but everything works great in the end. The hardest part was installing the mass air sensor, its mounted on the bottom back of the intake manifold where it is almost impossible to access. But it was all worth it, you wont be disappointed with this system.

Customer Question Is there any change to making this work with the Boss 302 intake? I don't have access to a dyno tuner shop or know which injectors to order. Can five star make a tune to have it work without codes?

Asked by: Darren - 7/23/2022
Customer Answer The complete kit's tuning will not work with a Boss 302 manifold, and 5-Star will likely not be able to do an email tune. Your best bet would be to call us directly at 623-434-5277 or email us at [email protected] so we can put together a Tuner Version with at least the right injectors.

Customer Question How hard would it be to make this work with a BOSS 302 intake manifold? I would imagine the piping leading from the intercooler to the throttle body would be the only real alteration needed.

Asked by: Jake K - 8/26/2019
Customer Answer You're half-right. From what we've heard from ProCharger, the only alteration you'd need to make to the kit component-wise is a longer intercooler cold side tube or extended-length coupler to run to the taller throttle body position on the Boss 302 manifold. The issue you're missing is tuning, and the tuning ProCharger provides cannot support a Boss 302 manifold. Your much better bet would be to get the Stage II Tuner System and grab your own injectors and tuning on a local chassis dyno if you're planning on running a Boss 302 manifold.

Customer Question Am I able to twin ProCharger my 2016 F-150 5.0?

Asked by: Robert Alstrom - 6/4/2019
Customer Answer Not with this kit or without a ton of custom fabrication, custom tuning, serious fuel upgrades, and all for questionable results. Depending on the power levels you're going for, your better bet would likely be a Whipple Kit that's pullied down with the right combo of dyno tuning and fueling.

Customer Question What kind of fuel mileage can I expect on a 2016 with this kit installed?

Asked by: Brandon - 3/10/2018
Customer Answer That depends entirely on how you drive your truck and your application. Some customers see a net decrease in fuel economy, and some see fuel economy increase. If you're constantly on the throttle to feel the kit's power, you'll likely lose fuel economy. If you drive fairly conservatively and use minimal boost pressure, you could see a slight bump in fuel economy.

Customer Question I have a completely stock 2015 f150 does this "complete kit" have everything I need? What fuel mods do I need? Or is the pcm programming enough with stock fuel set up. Just looking to bolt on tune and go! Thanks

Asked by: Darin - 1/22/2018
Customer Answer This kit includes everything you need in regards to fuel system upgrades and tuning. All that should be required is installation of the kit and uploading of your tune.

Customer Question How much Horsepower and Torque would I be getting out of the ProCharger Stage II Intercooled Complete Supercharger System?

Asked by: Josh - 4/29/2017
Customer Answer ProCharger quotes a 60-70% gain in horsepower with this kit, which would be in the neighborhood of 230-265 horsepower at the crankshaft (give Ford's factory 385 horsepower). That being said, all power gains are going to depend on your fuel octane, engine running condition, ambient conditions, and other factors.

Customer Question Will this fit the 2017 f150?

Asked by: Chris - 4/20/2017
Customer Answer The only issue with the 2017 F150s right now is that ProCharger does not have tuning for the new 2017 strategies. ProCharger will likely have that tuning ready in the next couple of months.

Customer Question im looking at superchargers for my 2015 f150. if price isnt a concern which is a better option, the whipple or procharger?

Asked by: sab - 12/31/2016
Customer Answer That really depends on what kind of powerband and drivability you want, and what other mods you have. In general, the ProCharger Kit keeps pretty close to your factory torque curves, but just increases power and torque along it which means the truck drives really close to stock, but with more power. The ProCharger kit is also a good choice if you have an aftermarket intake manifold, since you could keep it, while the Whipple System would require you to remove it. The Whipple Kits give you a ton of power all across your rev range, which means you get a huge amount of power all the time without hesitation. While that's generally a good thing, it does mean drivability can be a little twitchy in some circumstances, but having much more power on tap usually makes the Whipple Kit a more popular choice.
