The first mod we threw on our Raptor was a new aFe Stage 2 Cold Air Intake with their Pro Guard 7 filter on it. We've always been pleased with the quality of aFe's products and adding a little extra horsepower and throttle response would be a welcome addition to the already powerful 6.2L V8. With all the dust and dirt this truck will be kicking up in the desert, we knew we had to opt for the Pro Guard 7 filter to get the best possible air filtration for our motor. Unfortunately, we no longer keep this specific cold air intake system in stock, but we have similar Cold Air Intake Kits for you to chose from.
Our next order of business was to address the exhaust system on this Raptor. Obviously we wanted a louder and more aggressive growl, but we also wanted to squeeze some extra power from the exhaust. Our solution was Stainless Works Catted Long Tube headers bolted up to their Lightning Style Exhaust Kit. This setup gave our truck a brutal V8 rumble, helped the engine to breathe out easier and the side exit Lightning exhaust looks undeniably awesome! However we no longer have this long tube header in stock, but we have comparable options for F150 Headers.
