Despite the impressive list of components, this package all installs as direct, bolt-on replacements for your F150's stock intercooler and intercooler tubing to make it easy to get noticeable gains in horsepower and torque.

Unique Intercooler Design Built for Highly Efficient Airflow and Cooling

aFe's Bladerunner Intercooler features one of the most unique designs on the market so that it maximizes your 2015-2016 F150's power and performance potential in just about any application. The intercooler's hot-side opening features larger inlets than stock which reduces restrictions and back pressure for much more efficient airflow over stock. The intercooler itself is an aluminum bar-plate design that offers more effective cooling ability than stock at speed. Each Bladerunner intercooler has a highly-efficient core design with a larger volume and more efficient flow path than stock. The cold side outlet is positioned nearly in line with the hot-side which further improves airflow into the cold-side tube assembly. Each intercooler comes standard with a provision for your F150's eBOV as well as breather port for getting rid of built-up moisture and condensation.

Pair of Hot Side Tubes from your Turbos to the Intercooler

The Bladerunner Hot Side Tubes for the 2015-2016 3.5L EcoBoost trucks are designed to drop right into place of stock while offering up noticeable gains in power and overall engine performance. Both of the hot-side intercooler tubes included in this package are 3" in diameter and are mandrel-bent for less restrictions and back pressure over stock. The tubes are made out of aluminum with a black wrinkle powder coat finish that allow them to handle high-boost applications while resisting corrosion and damage from extreme climates or applications. The aFe Bladerunner hot-side tubes come with new couplers, clamps, and instructions.

3" Cold Side Tube from the Intercooler to Throttle Body

The cold side tube doesn't just have a larger diameter than stock, it also features smoother bends and more efficient design that improves the air volume and velocity going into your truck's engine. The Bladerunner tube measures 3" in diameter and is mandrel-bent to minimize restrictions and back pressure. The Bladerunner cold side tube is made from aluminum with black wrinkle powder coat finish that allows it hold up in high-boost applications and to resist corrosion. The aFe cold side tube comes with couplers, clamps, and installation instructions that make it extremely easy to install.

Dose this kit come with a inlet tubes .?

This kit comes with the intercooler and piping to and from the intercooler. It does not include turbo inlet tubes.

It does not. The intercooler can accept a Turbosmart BOV, however.

will the tubes work with a catch can?

As far as I'm aware, yes. The majority of catch cans on the market (UPR, JLT, RX, etc) aren't effected by aftermarket intercooler tubing. If you have a different brand of catch can, your best bet would be to call us directly at 623-434-5277.

It will not. This intercooler kit only fits 2015-2016 F150s. The 2017 F150 3.5L EcoBoosts have a slightly different intercooler design and tubing routing.

Can you explain how throttle response and H/P are increased with this install?

The tubing and intercooler allow for a larger amount of charge air to get to your truck's engine, which helps with throttle response and power. However, the real benefit of the intercooler is that its improved heat dissipation allows you to carry more power higher into the rev range due to less heat soak which gives you a flatter torque curve.

All warranty decisions are up to individual service departments, and your best bet would to speak to your local Ford Service Center directly and see what kind of leeway they give.

Yep. This package comes with both hot-side and cold-side tubing. The "cold-side" tube is also known as a charge pipe.

Is this a high mount intercooler like the freak of boost intercooler or does it mount in the factory position?

This intercooler kit mounts in the factory location, and is not a high-mount design like the Full-Race Intercooler.

What kind of results have you seen on the Dyno after installing this setup? Do you have a Dyno sheet avail? And last but not least will this bolt up to my AFE momentum GT intake with ease?

We do not have a dyno available for this kit at this time. Any gains are going to be dependent the tuning and fuel octane being used. The intercooler package fits just fine with the aFe Momentum GT intake.

Will my '15 ecoboost need to be tuned after installation of this intercooler?

It will not require tuning, however, it will greatly benefit from tuning, especially if you're grabbing a bunch of other bolt-on parts while you're at it.
