Pair of Hot Side Tubes from your Turbos to the Intercooler

The Bladerunner Hot Side Tubes for the 2015-2016 3.5L EcoBoost trucks are designed to drop right into place of stock while offering up noticeable gains in power and overall engine performance. Both of the hot-side intercooler tubes included in this package are 3" in diameter and are mandrel-bent for less restrictions and back pressure over stock. The tubes are made out of aluminum with a black wrinkle powder coat finish that allow them to handle high-boost applications while resisting corrosion and damage from extreme climates or applications. The aFe Bladerunner hot-side tubes come with new couplers, clamps, and instructions.

3" Cold Side Tube from the Intercooler to Throttle Body

The cold side tube doesn't just have a larger diameter than stock, it also features smoother bends and more efficient design that improves the air volume and velocity going into your truck's engine. The Bladerunner tube measures 3" in diameter and is mandrel-bent to minimize restrictions and back pressure. The Bladerunner cold side tube is made from aluminum with black wrinkle powder coat finish that allows it hold up in high-boost applications and to resist corrosion. The aFe cold side tube comes with couplers, clamps, and installation instructions that make it extremely easy to install.

2016 f150

Left side pipe doesn't fit in the bracket and the couplers are a little short. I can definitely tell a difference on power with this and the bbk throttle body. The fitment of the pipes could be alot better

2016 F150 Platinum

I bought these to replace the factory tubes. I installed a aFe cold air intake, throttle body, and these and I can definitely feel the power difference. Truck has great throttle response. Overall I'm very happy with the performance. However they do not fit properly and require some modifying of the mounting bracket or they wont fit at all. I am disappointed in aFe for not doing a better job insuring proper fitment. Might fit other years better but it doesn't fit my 16 properly. Because the fitment is off you have metal on metal contact and at certain RPM's will get a loud vibration noise coming from the tubes rattling against each other.

Is there any reason this kit wouldn't work correctly on a 2017 F150 with the 3.5 EB? If not, whats the differences in the 16-17 as far as inter cooler piping?

This kit will not fit a 2017 F150. The routing of the tubes is different enough between models to cause issues.

What kind of gains can be expected and is it going to make the turbos louder because of the higher volume of air flow?

Any power gains are going to be dependent on what fuel octane and tuning that you're running. In general, this tubing package can get you maybe 5-10 peak horsepower on their own. In general, aFe's tubing doesn't make much of a difference in sound, since they only improve airflow out of the turbos and don't increase compressor speed/spool.

Unfortunately, no. These intercooler tubes are not currently CARB-Approved for street use.
