Excellent Fit, Excellent Installation Instructions, Excellent Quality. If you are looking for performance gains without the additional noise this is the intake for you, if you want something that makes noise, you might want to look at another intake kit.

Great quality components and easy install. I added the larger air scoop and the engine does seem to breathe better. I do wish they had designed it with easier access to the filter so I wouldn't have to disassemble the unit to service the filter. I kinda wish I had gone with the aFe Rapid Induction Intake with the more open-air system. Consider your needs if/when deciding between the two products.

Excellent fit and finsh. Picture misleading as it looks like the intake tube is a molded piece but it is rubber. Would be nice if they include holes for the wire grommets to go back into like the factory box.

Customer Question Can I make this intake work with an ARB snorkel?

Asked by: Allen P - 10/2/2021
Customer Answer We can't guarantee it. Due to the design changes in the aFe intake, the ARB intake brackets may not work.

Customer Question Is it necessary to disassemble the unit to check and change the filter? Most you can access from the top but this looks like it's totally sealed.

Asked by: P double U - 11/26/2020
Customer Answer The airbox included with this kit is all one unit, so you will need to disassemble and remove the airbox to get at the filter.

Customer Question How are these dyno graphs being attained? I can't see if the stock tune was used according to the notes on the page and find it hard to believe there would be such a change to the curve without a fuel map change.

Asked by: antoncheez - 10/14/2019
Customer Answer You'd have to talk to aFe on that one. We did not perform dyno testing on this intake, nor do we plan to.

Customer Question Does this make the truck have a loud "whooshing" sound?

Asked by: Vino - 9/15/2019
Customer Answer We haven't tested this intake yet, but in theory, it shouldn't. Intakes with fully-enclosed air boxes like this tend to stay fairly quiet. It'll likely still be a smidge louder than stock, but not by much.
