Look great on shocks, wish I would have price matched competitors price though. These are marked up $10 over others pricing.

These do their job. I just wish I understood why the shock manufacturers aren't including boots or something like this automatically. They should all offer some sort of protection.

Would recommend! These fit the rear shocks securely and would do a good job protecting them.

These were an easy install got them just to match the fox 2.0 shocks pretty minimal protection for a daily driver though. Would much rather have a fox brand boot but for the price you cant complain to much i will say that the whole assembly is plastic they give you what i would consider to be wood screws that dont reslly match the plastic holes you put them in ran them in and out a few times for fear of busting the plastic that discolors and warps as you screw it together not sure how long they will hold tight. But they are on the truck and look great.

While this is a pretty simple product it does a great job, keeping dirt and road debris off of the shock will help the longevity without a doubt. Great purchase

I had installed my Fox 2.0s weeks prior to ordering these. They fit on the shocks very nice and snug. On the Toyota I would have had to remove the shocks to get access to the side to screw them together, so I just drilled through the other side and screwed them together from the ‘front’. Worked perfectly.

If you live on a dirt road and often do high speed offroad, these are a must. Easy install and I know the shafts are protected from debris.

They lock in place securely - I’m hoping they’ll help deflect gravel, snow, mud, salt away from the rod & seal without holding moisture like a boot

After 12 yrs I sent my 2.0 remote reservoir Fox shocks back for re-calving and service. After the sticker shock, all the shafts needed replacement due to rock damage. Fox’s shaft guards work amazing. They don’t hold moisture or dirt but protect the shafts from road chipping or off-road damage. These guards rock!

Customer Question Do these covers fit Ford Performance M-18000-F15A Fox 2.0?

Asked by: Mike - 5/26/2020
Customer Answer We haven't tried it ourselves, but since the Ford Fox 2.0s are just rebadged Fox 2.0 Performance Series shocks, the roost shields should fit.

Customer Question I’ve got fox shocks that come stock on my 2019 Toyota 4Runner & the rear shock has a reservoir. Would these fit? It’s pretty thick so I’ve found most guards don’t fit.

Asked by: Itsminwin - 10/19/2019
Customer Answer They will not. These roost covers are only meant for Fox 2.0 Performance Series and 2.0 Evolution shocks, and will not fit Fox OEM shocks for the 4Runners.

Customer Question Can these be installed after shocks are mounted?

Asked by: jcdmd73 - 10/27/2017
Customer Answer Yep. These can be installed on shocks that are already on your vehicle. Granted, it is a bit more tricky to get them on than when the shocks are not yet installed.

Customer Question Will these fit either of the following shocks? 984-50-757 984-50-759

Asked by: JohnB - 7/25/2017
Customer Answer They will not. Unfortunately, the Fox Roost Shields will not fit Fox Adventure Series shocks. You'll likely have to go with generic or semi-universal shock boot.

Customer Question Which way should these be facing when mounted? Should they be facing towards the ground?

Asked by: Robert Roane - 12/25/2016
Customer Answer They should face toward the front of the truck, so that they protect against stuff flung up by the front tires.

Customer Question I have a 2013 chevy Silverado I am getting a BDS suspension lift kit with the BDS FOX 2.0 shocks. The BDS shock part number is 98224759. Will these shields fit my shocks? They look like the same shock but have different part numbers.

Asked by: Art - 3/13/2016
Customer Answer The roost shields will physically fit those shocks, however, I'm not 100% sure how much of the shaft they'll cover, given that those shocks are for a lifted application, and the roost shields are generally meant for more standard Fox 2.0s. Still, they'd be a better option than nothing at all.
