Exceeded all expectations. Firmer ride (what i was looking for) and eliminated all body roll, brake dive and bounciness. Came pre-adjusted to perfectly level everything, no adjustment needed. Can’t recommend enough!

Could not be happier with purchase. Fixes the front end "float" of the truck and firms up the ride nicely. Build quality is amazing.

Customer Question Can I pair these with a spacer lift? I put Deavers on the rear end and now the truck has a rake again. I would like to have it sit at least level again. I have the adjustment collar at the limit of 2" of exposed threads.

Asked by: Drep - 8/1/2025
Customer Answer Icon does not recommend stacking spacers on top of their coilovers, and it could void any warranty if the shock is damaged due to the spacer being used in conjunction. With that being said, max height on those is 3.5" and you should really not be just using leveling components beyond that height. You may look into drop shackles or reach out to deaver and ask if you can take any leafs out of the pack to lower the lift height some.

Customer Question Will this fit a 2021 Ford Ranger Tremor Package?

Asked by: ryan - 3/30/2023
Customer Answer These coilovers will fit a Tremor. However, you will not get as much ride height out of them as the standard Rangers, since the Tremors are taller from the factory. According to ICON, at a maximum, you can get up to 2.5" of front lift. Out of the box, you'll likely only get 1" of lift, but it's hard to say.

Customer Question I'm only looking for 2 inch ride height increase. Do I need to upgrade the UCA's to make these 2.5" struts fit and ride properly?

Asked by: Ross - 12/6/2021
Customer Answer UCAs are not strictly required for these coilovers. In general, Rangers staying under 2.5" of total front lift are usually fine with the stock UCAs. That being said, if you are going to be pushing your Ranger hard off-road, then aftermarket UCAs are a good idea from a durability perspective.

Customer Question What height do these come preset?

Asked by: Stephen Ames - 1/26/2021
Customer Answer According to Icon, these coilovers come preset at about 2" of ride height out of the box.

Customer Question What would you recommend for a rear shock to complement these, or would just doing the 91250's be all I would need?

Asked by: Corey - 4/15/2020
Customer Answer Frankly, doing an aftermarket rear shock is probably more beneficial to general handling and ride than the fronts. Not that these coilovers wouldn't help you or your Ranger out in a big way, especially off-road, but rear shocks make a big difference. If you are going to be using these coilovers to their full potential off-road, you'll probably want to at least stick with ICON's 2.0 rear shock.

Customer Question Can the heigh be adjusted with the coil still installed, or does it have to be removed to adjust?

Asked by: Ian - 10/12/2019
Customer Answer In theory, it can be. However, there's not a ton of room to turn the adjustment collar with the spanner wrench, which makes it a tedious process. But it can technically be done.
