Aggressively Boosts your 2019-2023 Ford Ranger's Front Lift
Optimal For 2WD & 4WD
Easy installation: Bolt-on fit
Trimming Required for Tires > 32"
Sold as a Pair

Two Fully Adjustable Performance Coilovers w/ Remote Reservoirs

ICON's coilovers are all vehicle-specific and were carefully designed and tuned to give your Ranger the best performance possible. Each coilover kit consists of a pair of ICON 2.5" aluminum CAD plated shock bodies surrounded by an ICON-engineered performance coil springs that provides 35% increased front wheel travel over stock and articulation distance without compromising your truck's smooth street ride quality. This 2.5 series corrosion resistant body also includes a 7/8" shaft. The coilovers can be adjusted from stock ride height to an extra 3.5" of lift which allows you to use up to 32" tires on your truck without trimming. Larger tires may be able to fit, but ICON warns that fender trimming and modifications will be required. The large diameter of the shock body gives these coilovers a huge oil volume that keeps fade down to a minimum and prevents overheating. The coilovers also feature adjustable CDCV remote reservoirs for better cooling properties and consistent damping. This is accomplished by the volume of nitrogen and oil in the reservoir. The Compression Damping Control Valve (CDCV) system on each reservoir features a dial that controls the fluid flow going between the reservoir and shock body, allowing you to dial in the coilover's compression just to your liking.

Much Easier Install than Lift Kits

On top of its excellent performance and its high quality suspension package, the coilover kit is extremely easy to install. Each one of these coilovers features a 2.5" diameter shock body that allows for a huge increase in oil capacity over your stock struts. The shock bodies are made out of high-quality aluminum which helps make heat dissipation more effective over stock, even in extreme off-road applications. The coilovers are wrapped up in an ICON engineered coilover spring that has improved response and less bounce than the factory spring without overly effecting your street ride quality. The coilovers have upper and lower mounts and spring perches made out of CNC machined 6061 billet aluminum that come standard with a black anodized finish for a great look and corrosion resistance. Each coilover is designed as a direct bolt-on replacement for stock and comes with installation instructions and hardware.

Fitment: 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 Ford Ranger 4WD & 2WD

Requires aftermarket upper control arm: due to this coilover kit's extended travel design, it requires an aftermarket upper control arm like ICON's Tubular or ICON's Billet Ranger UCAs.

2020 Frod Ranger

These shocks are a great addition to the ranger. The ability to switch settings is great. Can be a little tough to adjust ride height but some time and a jack with the special tool (not included with the shocks which is a let down) and you can adjust the ride height when you want. Great handling off road and a sport feeling on the road. If you want a luxury feel, probably not the shock for you. If you don't want to feel the poorly paved roads in your area, highly recommended.

Stroke length? Spring rate? If these come set at 2" level, could I put an eibach 14"x600 coil and lower it down an inch to sit about 3"? If so, do you think the new coil would be the sweet spot for daily driving and off-road, with the ability to adjust of course?

According to ICON, total travel is about 5.25" and they use a 650lb spring. Using a 600lb spring would likely not make that much of a difference, considering that ICON's 2.5s use pretty aggressive digressive valving that makes them fairly stiff in general, though the lower CDCV settings do help. If you want the smoothest possible ride while still sticking with a 2.5 Coilover, your better bet would be Fox or Kings with compression adjusters.
