I have a 2.5” readylift on my truck and going from the stock ranchos to these is amazing. They are smooth on the bumpy roads we have here in SC, with the stock shocks I could feel every crack in the road. Off-road is yet to be determined, but going over some big jumps in the road the truck performs great.

Awesome shocks, very easy to mount. I would recommend getting the coil mounts though. So far the ride has been amazing. Definitely worth the money.

Customer Question What width tire will rub on these? Looks close to contacting tire.

Asked by: Todd - 9/6/2022
Customer Answer That depends entirely on what wheel you're using, specifically its width, offset, and backspacing. Give us a call directly at 623-434-5277 or email us at [email protected] so we can get more specific about your wheels.

Customer Question I have a 2022 f350 I have a ready lift 2.5” lift and airbags I am looking for a upgraded shock like this ! Will these work or is there another suggestion.

Asked by: Septimus - 10/22/2021
Customer Answer Fox has only outright confirmed fitment up to the 2020 Super Duty model year, however, we'll probably get a fitment update for up to 2022 soon, since not a ton changed suspension-wise.

Customer Question On the remote reservoir there is a square knob, is the valving adjustable from soft to firm? Or are the shocks single setting?

Asked by: Greg - 1/10/2021
Customer Answer These particular shocks do not have adjustable compression. The "knob" you see on the reservoirs is just a fill port used when servicing the shocks. The adjustable version of these shocks is here.

Customer Question Will this fit a 2020 F250 with2.5 leveling kit. Description states up to 2019. Thanks

Asked by: Steve - 8/17/2020
Customer Answer Unfortunately, we do not have have an outright confirmation from Fox. Due to the lower factory ride height of the 2020 Super Dutys, Fox may decide to come out with a whole new line of shocks for the 2020 trucks.

Customer Question what is the difference between the universal bracket and the billet clamp

Asked by: rob - 7/30/2020
Customer Answer The universal bracket is a steel bracket and set of worm-gear clamps that allow for a true remote-mounting, but doesn't look as nice as the billet clamp. The billet clamp is billet aluminum and gives the reservoirs a piggyback mounting that generally looks a little cleaner. However, that piggyback mounting can hurt tire clearance, especially if you're looking to mount wide tire.

Customer Question What's the on road ride like with these? Also, do they come with the reservoir mounting clamps as shown?

Asked by: Kevin - 12/23/2019
Customer Answer Ride quality should good, if maybe a little stiff until they're broken in. You will get better stability and handling, however. According to Fox, the reservoir brackets are included.

Customer Question Can I lose the shock extension I am running with my 2” leveling kit by using these shocks? I have a 2019 Ford F-250

Asked by: Robert Johnston - 4/17/2019
Customer Answer Yep. If you're currently using a 2" leveling kit with shock extensions for the factory shocks, you could replace both the stock shocks and the leveling kit's shock extensions with these Fox shocks.

Customer Question I had purchased a ready lift 2.5 lift from you guys and I want to eliminate the shock extension the picture shows this shock with top and bottom female bolt holes. while the factory shock had a top male stud and bottom female hole. which top mounting hole does part number 985-24-162 actually have?

Asked by: bryan - 12/7/2018
Customer Answer This part number is for a pair of front shocks with a pin-top upper mount. Unfortunately, we did not receive any good photos of the correct shock, but we're hoping to have them in soon for our own images.
