Customer Question Im interested in the tuner and leaving it in place to use the monitoring features, but I already have AMP Research powersteps plugged into the OBD-II port. Is there a solution? Splitter? Or is my only option to plug in and unplug both devices? Thanks

Asked by: Scott - 7/14/2019
Customer Answer You can feasibly use the AMP Pass-Through Harness, though if you're tuning/re-tuning the truck, we suggest hooking the tuner directly into the OBD-II port. The only problem with the Pass-Through Harness is that the 2017+ F150s and Raptors have an offset OBD-II port, which can make fitting the harness kind of a pain, and you may need to trim some of your dash, which is why official fitment is only up to 2016. According to AMP, the harness will function just fine on a newer truck, it's just fit that's an issue.

Customer Question Can this devise over ride the top speed shutdown on my 2017 Ford Raptor? If so I may be interested in it.

Asked by: Bob - 6/26/2019
Customer Answer The device itself does not, but COBB's OTS tunes do override the stock speed limiter to a ridiculous number so that it's effectively disabled. If you want the speed limiter to be set at a more reasonable number, you'd have to get a ProTune from a certified COBB tuner. This all being said, we don't recommend taking these trucks beyond 125mph, as that's about the limits of their factory driveshafts.

Customer Question I spoke with Cobb Tuning and they said they don't support the 2019 raptor yet. Is that true or will this 100% work on my 2019 raptor?

Asked by: Andrew - 2/1/2019
Customer Answer COBB does not yet have tuning support for the 2019 Raptors, though they will likely have it soon.
