I noticed a difference right away. I had the stock Bilstein shocks and they were great. But the 5100 are amazing. Thank you.

Better ride, handling and braking. Way better than just a leveling puck. Plus the truck looks great.

The shocks came In a timely manner.. I wish the rears shocks came with a set of bushings that would fit.. I got a set of universal Bilstein 5100 bushings and those didn’t fit so I had to drill them out to fit over the top spindle. It would have been much easier and less swearing..

Follow instructions for an easy install. Definitely leveled my truck at 39.5" in both the front and back by using top setting on front. Ride is amazing with a much more sound suspension feel. Can't forget to mention the great price too.

So far so good price was good they were on time ride is nice fills like a truck should. Install was not that bad installed myself. If your going to do this yourself don't be cheap and buy a good spring compressor.

Customer Question Will this lift allow fitment of 35 inch tires?

Asked by: Andre C - 1/4/2023
Customer Answer That depends entirely on the width of the tire, the specs of your wheels (especially their backspace and offset), and whether you're willing to do any trimming or not. In general, at the front strut's maximum ride height, you may be able to get away with a fairly narrow 35" tire on wheels with a pretty high offset and high backspace. Your best bet would be to call us directly at 623-434-5277 or email us at [email protected] so we can get more specific about your wheel and tire setup.

Customer Question I have a 1.5" lift block on the back of my truck currently and would like to keep it. The 5100 rear shocks say for a 0-1" lift. Well they still work with my 1.5" block spacer?

Asked by: LANCE - 4/8/2022
Customer Answer The Bilstein 5100 rear shocks are not capable of handling 1.5" of rear lift. For shock options that can handle more lift, give us a call directly at 623-434-5277 or email us at [email protected].

Customer Question How come this kit has boots on the front struts but the other front struts with the new springs pre-installed don't? Can you remove the boot?

Asked by: Christopher Moore - 8/5/2021
Customer Answer That's just how some manufacturers roll. In general, with a full coilover, you don't have a lot of opportunity for the shaft to get damaged, since it's wrapped in a spring, so many manufacturers just forgo a boot. The boots on the shocks in this kit can be removed.

Asked by: Gary - 4/19/2021
Customer Answer For this particular kit, you transfer over your factory front coil springs, mounts, and isolators for installation.

Customer Question Will these shocks work for a 6" suspension lifted tundra?

Asked by: JR Dugger - 3/9/2021
Customer Answer Not in its entirety. You could potentially use the Bilstein front struts, though you would need to use them on their 0" stock ride height setting and then reuse your lift kit's strut spacers. The rear shocks are not long enough to work with a 6" lift at all, however. Your better bet would be to use the Fox 2.0s for 4-6" lift kits. If you want to go another route, give us a call directly at 623-434-5277 or email us at [email protected].
