Customer Question Will these work on 6" rear lift blocks with an incorporated bump stop arm?

Asked by: Don - 3/28/2021
Customer Answer This kit will fit and will probably work fine with on a lift kit with blocks that have bump stop arms. That being said, a lot will depend on the block and whether that bump stop arm is in the same relative location as the axle would be at the lifted height.

Customer Question Why doesn’t this kit work on a 2wd, since they have the same rear axle?

Asked by: Patrick - 3/14/2021
Customer Answer The RWD 2009-2014 F150s actually don't always have the same axle. Many had the standard 8.8" instead of the 9.75". More importantly, the RWD trucks did not come with a rear block, while the 4WD trucks came with either a 1.25" or 1.50" rear block, which could cause issues with rear travel with the Timbren kit. You would likely be good to go if you installed either a 1.5" rear block or a take-off 4WD block.

Customer Question Do these work with a 4" lift?

Asked by: Garvin - 11/27/2019
Customer Answer They'll technically bolt up on a truck with a 4" lift kit, though the spring is not long enough to actually work as it's intended on a truck with a typical 4" block or 2" stacked block on a 4" lift kit.

Customer Question Can I have these on with the Roadmaster Active Suspension

Asked by: Ct - 6/3/2019
Customer Answer He haven't tried it, and we can't strictly guarantee that the combination will install without interference. The real issue is that the RoadMaster's inner bracket may come into contact with the Timbren Spring when its compressed, and we're not quite sure how much clearance there actually is.
