These seem to come adjusted to max hight. With a rear add-a-leaf the truck has a +1" rake at the rear. You'll likely have the front end sitting higher than the rear if you don't adjust the ride hight or lift the rear as well. The installation was straightforward. The provided instructions don't account for every permutation of truck that these fit. The lower end studs on the front struts do not come out of the cross bar as the instructions mention. The lower control arm must be manhandled to remove the front strut as you need 3" of additional clearnace beyond the length if the strut to accommodate the studs. Installing the new strut is much easier even with the added length considering the bottom is held on by threaded bolts that come up from the bottom of the control arm. Be prepared to lose 3mpg (5.0L) due to the unfavorable change in aerodynamics. This is accounting for the additonal loss due to oversized tires

Customer Question I currently have the factory raptor 17’s (same as what we’re on the tremor build) with 285/70r17s on my 18’ supercab. Would I need to put on spacers to clear the UCAs? (I think they have 6” or so backspace). And if I do add the BORA spacers, will there be any performance loss or limitations off road?

Asked by: Shawn - 7/22/2019
Customer Answer You will be able to clear a 285 wide tire just fine with Raptor 17x8.5" wheels without the need for a spacer. In theory, you should be able to clear up to a 295 wide tire, but if you go wider than that down the road, you'd need a wheel spacer or aftermarket wheels. In general, BORA's spacers hold up extremely well as long as they're properly installed and torqued down.

Customer Question I am comparing the Stage 2 with the Stage 3, and trying to see if it’s worth choosing the stage 3, my truck is primarily a daily driver/weekend warrior with a roof top tent and well loaded on long weekend trips. I am also planning to do the “add a leaf” kit due to the extra weight of the Roof top tent. Do you guys have an opinion on if the Stage 3 is worth it?

Asked by: BBasic - 11/20/2018
Customer Answer If you're really ripping around off-road or doing some real violent rear-end articulation/compression, then yes, the Stage 3 Kit with its rear 2.5s will be worth it. If you're not doing any of that, then this kit is probably overkill, and the Stage 2 kit will be more than enough. Even our Overland Tremor Build is using 2.0s in the rear, and it hasn't had any issues.

Customer Question What is the largest tire I can fit with this kit on a 2016 F-150 XLT with stock 20" rims?

Asked by: john - 10/27/2018
Customer Answer The largest tire you can get away with in order to clear the UCAs of this kit and not rub would be a 33x11.50" tire, which would put you in the neighborhood of a 295/55R20. You might be able to get away with a 295/60R20, though you'll probably get some rub when turning and articulating.

Customer Question With Method 17x8.5 wheels and 0 offset, what would be the recommended tire size? Would the Raptor 315/70/17's fit? I don't mind removing the front crash bars.

Asked by: Adam - 8/25/2017
Customer Answer 315/70R17s would clear both the UCAs and the crash bars with that wheel, however, you would absolutely rub on the valance and the rear of the front wheel well. The maximum tire you could likely fit on your truck without rubbing would be a 305/70R17, and even then you might get some rub while turning and articulating at the same time.

Customer Question Do you know the size wheel of that truck that is pictured? Brand of wheel as well?

Asked by: Cr500 - 3/6/2017
Customer Answer According to ICON, those were custom-painted Method Wheels with 35x12.50R17 tires, which rubbed badly.
