High-Quality Ring-and-Pinion Gears with Precise Machining and Lapping
Yukon's front and rear 5.13 gears are made using some of the strongest gear steel on the market and are precisely machined for a perfect fit and quiet operation. Each ring-and-pinion gear set is manufactured out of forged, triple-alloy 8620 gear steel that's incredibly strong and can handle both high levels of horsepower and torque, as well as intense off-road applications without letting you or your F150 down. Both the ring and pinion gears are precisely machined by Yukon to ensure perfect fitment in your truck. All of the gear teeth go through an ultra-precise, computer-controlled lapping process that ensures a smooth engagement between the ring and pinion gears so that you get reduced noise and flawless operation in practically any condition or application. Both the front 8.8 IFS and rear 9.75" gear kits drop right into place of your F150's stock gearing with the help of Yukon's install kits.
