Do you offer wiring harnesses for this light kit? I see a connector on the light wire, but what needs to be ordered to connect this light kit?

Asked by: Scott - 3/16/2020

ZRoadZ recommends their 25ft Harness for this kit. However, that harness is pretty basic and doesn't come with any way to tie the lights directly into your reverse lights. A better bet would be Starkey's Backup Wiring Kit that comes with a nicer switch and wiring that can tie into the reverse lights so that the ZRoadZ lights automatically come on in reverse.

Are these SAE-R rated as Virginia allows as many reverse lights as you want as long as they are SAE-R rated.

Asked by: Rick - 3/4/2020

These lights are not SAE-R rated. They're technically for use off public roads. Unfortunately, Virginia is one of the few states with such strict lighting mandates. Your best bet would be to get the ZRoadZ Brackets on their own and then hunt down Virginia-legal lights separately.
