2018 Tacoma TRD Off-Road
I decided to go with the Eibach leveling kit with the upgraded coil springs and i am in love. Very smooth ride i got the truck pretty much leveled and it looks great, i use to have a spacer puck and let me tell you what a world of difference. The spacer puck made the truck ride rough and made my angles really bad on the ball joints.I do quite a bit of trails on the weekends and the pucks just made the truck very bouncy and stiff. I highly recommend this kit to anyone who is looking for a good reliable comfortable shock kit.

Came with very good packaging. Instructions worked out great. Seemed easy to install. I took this up some pretty hairy stuff. Performed flawless. Really like these.

2020 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport
Great product. Great customer service from Stage 3 Motorsports. With this kit, I was able to fit LT285/70/17 Falken Wildpeaks AT3s on method wheels that are 17x8.5 with a 0 offset. There is no rubbing unless on the trail and fully turned where it only rubs plastic. With the front shocks, there are three different heights that it can be set to and I did the lowest height which is essentially level. The most complicated part of the install was the spring compression. Overall really happy with this purchase and the ride is more comfortable than the OEM suspension.

Customer Question I like how much this kit lifts the tacoma but I am also interested in bolstering the back leaf springs so that I can haul stuff without the back end sagging. Do you offer an add a leaf option to this kit and would adding a leaf boost the back end even more?

Asked by: Ron Backer - 6/30/2025
Customer Answer We do have both add a leaf options which add carrying capacity and height, as well as rear blocks and helper springs which can help counteract sag without adding any capacity avaiable. Reach out to us on the sales team and they can discuss the different options and help you pick whats best for you.

Customer Question I’m new to building my truck but really want to get a lift don’t the road. If i were to buy this kit where is the place i would have to go to get it installed. would it come with everything they need

Asked by: braden - 11/28/2023
Customer Answer As far as installation goes, most automotive shops can install these as there's no special tools or training required. The kit does come with instructions for install and some hardware. There are some parts like the top strut mount that you reuse from your current struts and move over to the new struts when assembling them.

Customer Question How do we achieve a 3" lift on this specific kit on a 3rd gen? And what's a good rear lift to give it a lil bit of a level look, but still maintaining a bit of rake? Is a 2.5" block or add leaf good match with this setup?

Asked by: Chief - 2/6/2021
Customer Answer To get 3" of lift, you'd have to set the front strut's perch on the 1" ride height setting, and then use the Eibach springs, which give 2" of ride height on their own. In general, the Tacomas are pretty "dead-level" at 2" of front leveling. At 3" of ride height, you'd need at least a 1" rear block to be dead-level, and either a 1.5" rear block or add-a-leaf kit to get a smidge of rake back. We do not recommend a 2.5" rear block, since the Eibach rear shocks can only handle 1.5" of net lift.

Customer Question Will this kit work on my tire size 285/75r16? Or! 305/70r16?

Asked by: Brianparris94 - 12/17/2020
Customer Answer That depends somewhat on what wheel you're using, though in general, you'd probably be fine with the 285/75R16 on most wheel options with this kit. The 305 option is a bit iffy due to the tire width. Your best bet would be to call us directly at 623-434-5277 or email us at [email protected] so we can get more specific about what wheel you're using.

Customer Question Why would you need a lift block in the rear as an option? Do you guys offer the shim for the driver side (taco lean)?

Asked by: Dennis - 11/25/2020
Customer Answer You wouldn't necessarily need a rear block unless you wanted to preserve more rake for towing, hauling, or keeping constant weight in the bed with a rack and an RTT (especially if you're taking front ride up beyond 2"). Most shims are universal, and while we can get our hands on some (namely from Toytec), your best bet would be to call us directly at 623-434-5277 or email us at [email protected] so we can get specific about how much you're leaning and if you want to do go with some other leaf spring/add-a-leaf option.

Customer Question Did you experience any drive shaft vibration after installing this liff?

Asked by: Dax - 11/13/2020
Customer Answer We did not experience any on our Tacoma Project Truck. If you do end up with some, it can usually be corrected with a carrier bearing drop or angled shims on the rear axle.
