Ordered kit from Stage 3. Arrived in a week. I already had plugs in and fascia off. My buddy and I had it on and running in 5 hours with a couple of breaks. Procharger makes a great kit. Very easy. Every step in its own bag. Empty bag, step done. Had to do some trimming to my lower fascia to get around intercooler, but that was it. Basic tools needed. Impact gun for Crank bolt and deep well metric sockets a must. Got done, installed tune, started right up, no problems, runs and sounds AWESOME. Want more power. Get this Supercharger.

The Procharger kit is well thought out and relatively easy to install. It contained everything in bags that coincide with the installation steps. Two problems I had: 1 the bumper cover had to be trimmed to clear the intercooler at the bottom. 2 the tune left the 1-4 skip shift on. I contacted Procharger's tuner and he revised my tune to turn this feature off. In the end, Procharger made it right. Another complaint is the supercharger rattles at idle. After an Internet search, I found this was a common complaint and that it is normal. I opted for the 2 year extended warranty and hope not to need it. Now for performance: a centrifugal supercharger behaves much like a turbo. Once you hit 3k RPM, look out, it's a rocket. Very nice smooth power right to redline. I can't wait to get it on a dyno to see what I'm making. At cruising speeds, it behaves like stock, very drivable. I opted for the helical gears, but there is a noticeable whistle much like a turbo, but no gear whine, just the rattle mentioned above. Overall, I'm pleased so far.

Customer Question Will this work with an aftermarket shaker good?

Customer Answer That really depends on the particular shaker hood system, but in general, probably not. Since the supercharger system relocates the intake next to the firewall, most true shaker hood scoops will not work in conjunction with the ProCharger, though you can generally keep the hood scoop itself as an aesthetic mod. Customer Answer It will, though fitment over the reverse-facing inlet tubing is pretty tight.

Customer Question IF IM RUNNING E85 (FUEL) DOES THIS KIT SUPPORT IT OR DO I NEED TO SWITCH BACK TO 91 OCT?? WHAT WOULD I NEED TO RUN THIS KIT WITH E85??

Customer Answer The kit does not support E85 out of the box, and you would need to switch to 91 octane for proper operation. If you wanted to use a system with E85, your best would be to get a lower-cost tuner kit and then get the necessary fuel injectors and a custom dyno tune for use with E85 fuel. Your best bet would be to call us directly at 1-877-578-2433 so we can get pricing on a tuner kit and to figure out what injectors you would need.

Customer Question Yes i have a 2012 GT and my question is: Do I need or have to change compression ratio to run the Procharger? Also how about whipple 2.3 SC?

Customer Answer Both kits are designed to be installed onto factory engines with factory compression ratios, and changing them is not required.
