Performance Filter with Heat Shield and Inlet Tube

When they designed their 77-Series Kits, K&N dug up the largest air filter that they could possibly fit in place of your truck's factory air box and built the rest of the system around it. The filter is one of K&N's classic high-flow oiled systems that brings in a much larger volume of air than stock along with improved filtration. Along with the filter, each K&N 77-Series kit comes with a full heat shield assembly and a highly efficient inlet tube that works together to promote improved airflow into your truck's engine over the stock air box. A bonus about this kit is that the filters are washable and reusable, or you can purchase replacements.

2013 F150 Lariet

From the time I cut the box to me putting away the few tools it took less then 30 Mins. It sound great under the hood. I also had a Shelby sport hood put on after some Hail damage. fit perfect up to the hood. All the hoses came with it no ajustment at all. You can totally feel more power. Plug and play!! Thank you Stage 3.

2012 f150 5.0

Quick and easy to install. Did notice loader roar from engine aswell as better trottle response. Not so much fuel mileage increase as least not yet. Only bad thing is one of the evap lines had to be slightly bent to connect to intake tube and also it rubs against hood.

2013 F150 5.0L Lariat Supercrew 4x4

I had a K&N Drop in, so I wasn't expecting much more out of this kit. I couldn't have been more wrong. First of all, the truck breathes so much better. It also made the exhaust note more throaty. Sounds great, and inched my mpg up also. Great product, easy install, and looks good too!

Easy install, took about an hour and 20 mins all together. Minimal tools needed. Now I get tremendous sound out of the engine compartment.

2013 F150 5.0

This would get 5 stars but the elbow on the pipe that connects to the filter and throttle body sits to high. When I close the hood the elbow sits on the pad under the hood and it has rubber off the finish on the aluminum tune. I did notice a little bit of HP gain but not a huge amount. Truck does sound really good in the cab just upset about the fit on this product. Stage 3 gets a 5 stars. Very fast shipping less thN 24hrs from purchase to door step.

would this fit with a boss 302 intake and a 85mm bbk throttle body

We've never tried to fit this intake with the taller Boss manifold so we could not guarantee there would be no fitment issues. The coupler included with this kit will work on the BBK throttle body no problem.

Is there a difference between the K&N Aluminum tube on the 77 system and the other material the K&N 63 system when it comes to flow and HP?

Not much. Technically, the aluminum intake will be more prone to heat soak, which can cost you some gains, but it would real tough to notice on a day-to-day basis or even measure it.
