The 2019-2021 Ford Ranger works great, but for the most efficient operation, your stock catch can needs replaced. Inefficiencies and maintenance problems can arise from oil vapor entering your air intake tract. The 2019-2021 Ranger 2.3L EcoBoost UPR Dual Valve Oil Catch Can w/ CSS Plug N Play offers unparalleled help. This easily-installed catch can kit connects right in line with your Ranger's passenger-side PCV line and helps pull oil vapor and blow-by out of your PCV system before it enters your intake. This creates less mess inside your engine bay's inner workings for improved filtration. With its clean side separator and low-profile design, the can looks great and performs even better. When you are under boost, the wide open throttle hose utilizes the high-velocity air that is being pulled into the turbo through the air box which increases air being pulled through the catch can. With this functionality, you get crankcase evacuation throughout the RPM range. The result is the strongest and best performing catch can setup imaginable. This kit includes adjustable mounting brackets so you can easily mount the catch can to your preference. With UPR Plug N Play Catch Can Fittings, you can empty the catch can without removing the intake cover or catch can lines from your engine. The kit is also 100% modular and also can be disassembled, emptied, cleaned, and reassembled quickly.

High-Quality Can and Lines with Efficient Capture Design

The UPR Plug-N-Play Oil Catch Can kit combines a highly efficient internal oil trap design with a high-quality 2.5" x 6" can and hoses so that it is the last catch can system that your Ranger will ever need. Within each can is a specialized UPR 4 stage oil separation system that cools and condenses engine blow-by oil vapor into droplets that are then collected within the can. The oil containment chamber features more size than your stock container with an 10oz capacity. The can also uses high-quality T-6 6061 billet aluminum that is CNC machined for an excellent look and fit. UPR includes a full set of 5/8" UPR braided hoses and billet hose ends that are resistant to oil and corrosion to keep your catch can system operating flawlessly for the life of your EcoBoost engine. 2021 F Ranger engine

I got this kit for a 2021 Ranger 2.3 engine, as I have one on my 2017 Mustang and they work great. But I can not find an auto shop to make the hose connections on my Ranger. They all say this years water hose is blocking the access to them. I am 77, so I can't try it myself. Sadly I have to return it.

2019 Ranger XLT

Took me a couple hours and got a bruised up hand, but I got the PCV hose off and the two new hoses connected. This unit is doing it's job, every time I drain some vile greenish yellow fluid comes out. I added some O-rings on the can fittings and air breather fittings, slip them over the male connectors down to the raised ridge. It takes the slop and play out of the connection but they still lock on fine. I used #9 O-rings, 5/8" o.d. x 7/16" i.d.

Well made and looks great in the truck. Hardest part was getting to the PVC and Intake connections, very tight fit.

21 Ranger Tremor

Absolute must have! Worth every penny - even with the pain of an a** install. Thanks Ford for hiding everything behind the wheel well (oil filter, too). You'll probably hurt your hand a bit. Curse more than a sailor. Maybe even quit once or twice. Once you get it, though, you'll be so happy to keep the crap out of your turbo and intake. Just see the pics! I highly recommend the dual valve. Otherwise, you're only keeping the gunk out occasionally. Under throttle, it's going right to your turbo and gunking up everything after. Especially in direct injected engines, it's super important. Do a quick search and there's some good vids out there. Get the hose emptying add on thingy. Worth the few bucks. So easy. (Glove pic is winter, so there's water condensation in it. AKA empty more often in the winter.)

Any know problems running this in extreme cold? Had a different one and the condensation would make the filter freeze up constantly.

unfortunately unless you take measures in insulating the can yourself, any condensation will freeze inside the can will freeze during extreme cold conditions.

We only have confirmation on the 2.3L EcoBoost Rangers. Since we're in North America, getting our hands on a Ranger Raptor with a diesel isn't exactly easy.
